UNC has banned Patriots staff from the entire football program. Zero access. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/46159090/unc-belichick-ban-patriots-staff-program

Kind of like the fact your entire identity is wrapped up in whining about Bryce Young, yet you get butthurt when someone calls out Xavier Legette once for dropping passes and suddenly that means it’s all they talk about? Is that the kind of consistency we’re expecting from others? The kind where we set double standards and try to create things to argue about? Hilarious.

I'm hoping to at least go 1-16. That's how much confidence I have in the 2025 season, and even that seems unrealistic the more I think about it.
-
We don't have much to go on other than a handful of preseason plays and whatever's regurgitated from media folks. Mitchell caught a wide-open, WIDE-open TD pass, which was awesome, but Evans does the same thing in that instance. Either way, I've for the umpteenth consecutive year set the bar at hopefully a record as good as 1-16.

James Mitchell has been in the league for years and Evans is a rookie.

Well, Arch is out. Who are the Panthers taking No. 1 next April?
-
The only bright side is the last time Coker came back from injury he immediately balled out.

Are you fuging kidding me? fug this season already.

Auburn is a basketball school that wastes its money on football ineptitude, but they do have an excellent WR corps this season. That'll definitely help. I don't see them ever beating Alabama again, though. Six wins should be their goal this year. Anything more is not very realistic. They're two years away from being three years away. Miami is always hyped up too much, but it's more justified this year. They won 10 games last year and were a Cam Ward business decision away from 11 wins. Beck is a good QB and the pieces are there for an ACC Championship Game appearance, but they'll fall a bit short due in part to a questionable defense and Cristobal's patented late-game coaching gaffes. If App State doesn't beat UNCC, that's an awful look on their staff.

I was definitely impressed with Mensah. That dude's a baller.

Love the way Duke came out and dominated Elon in the second half. Did not love the way they played at all in the first half. Got a lot of missed tackles on film for this week and the next game's not gonna be easy at all.

I really can't name one other than the Mingo trade. Glad to see some others.

I could see why it doesn't make sense. Probably because I don't do it. I'm high on a lot of the young players. But if folks think Tommy Tremble and XL are top-tier talent or they feel compelled to make excuses for them dropping passes or failing to get open while blaming the signal caller for their lack of performance, no amount of condescension can lay claim to the intellectual high ground.
-
So would most any offensive skill player with talent and experience.
-
Not if they can't catch or get open.

He was a crutch but I don't know where the better options were. Let XL drop it? Try an easy-to-cover Tremble? Find Coker wide open on the bench? Dump off to Hubbard short of the sticks?

Agreed but if the eighth overall pick WR can't step up and be a big player, there are bigger problems at play.
