  1. The loss of Brady hurt badly. He was honestly probably the best scheme fit among all of our OL. Bozeman sadly is a square peg in a round hole in this system. Ickey has regressed immensely. And he may have to end up inside. Corbett I don’t think was ever 100% was rushed back in a already awful OL. Tremble has shown flashes but nothing more than that he can be a TE2 Hurst has sadly shown his entire career that he is nothing more than a TE2 and we were banking on him being a impact TE1 Thelien is reliable. But he is old and un athletic. Honestly the last time he was a WR1 or a major threat in this league. Jerry Richardson was the owner of the Panthers. Mingo has looked raw as heck. Which many thought coming out of the draft. A rookie QB who the situation who is starting to look shell shocked at times and developing some bad traits. Its a overall disaster. You need to retool the OL and add a few weapons with a offensive minded guy from this century (who uses motions etc) Then see what the QB looks like next year. If it still looks the same. You’ll have to start having the conversation about what next. Whether it be try to bring in a vet or what.
  2. Could care less about the jersey. but they should make him say ”with the first pick via MY Carolina Panthers. The Chicago Bears select….”
  3. He is just going to duck down and hope this blows under the rug from the attention being pulled away from the CFP and NFL playoff hunt this last week. Also appears he is going to have his coaches and players go out there and field the questions from his actions
  4. A lot of that was fools gold last year though. Its no coincidence that he started to “look good” once that started running the ball 90% of the time and the 10 -15 pass attempts, they brought a TE over to help him pass pro Heck, Remmers and Matt Kalil would look good if they rarely had to pass pro and had help the handful of snaps they did. Ickey is a dam good Run Blocker. But in the NFL, you have to do more than just run block. My concern with the notion of moving him to guard is something that I’ve seen brought up by some OL coaches and Gurus. Not all of his poor plays has necessarily been slow feet etc. he is just flat out failing to figure out who to pick up on certain play. A lot of mental errors and some just laziness. Very much similar to what we saw with Cam Erving which happens to have been his mentor last year. Moving him to guard isn’t going to all of a sudden make him figure out who to pick up or what to do in pass pro all of a sudden.
  5. Everyone should organize to go up to Teppers booth at 1 time and throw beers at him.
  6. Dude has played 1 fully healthy season in like 5 years and you want to draft him at 33 to put behind this OL?
  7. Idk the man was mentored by Cam Erving now looks to have become him. Not sure there’s much coming back. Unless we move back to a offense where you only pass the ball 5-10 times and you give him a TE as help those few times.
  8. Man, I’d hope. but I’ve seen some OL coaches say that won’t even be the answer as quite a bit of Ickey’s problems has looked like mental errors or flat laziness. Moving to OG won’t automatically fix that. It won’t mean he will automatically know his assignments all of a sudden
  9. Not only twice the the attempts But the team he was facing physically had their Backups starting at CB. With both Starters Out that game. But the box score watchers won’t tell you that.
  10. Man now its the environment you really are dumb aren’t you? You should just change your profile name to Bryce’s number 1 hater and go jump to another team.
  11. Andy only had like 30 more yards than Bryce has today on double the attempts .and also. That bad secondary you refer to in Seattle was starting both backup CBs on top as both starters were out Nice try though.
  12. My top choice behind Ben Johnson guy has done a great job scheming things up in Houston. its been reported by many including people in Houston that if they had the opportunity at the time. That Houston would’ve taken Bryce. And there were article how Bryce was a perfect fit for that Shanahan style offense. Plus it’s a bonus as an offensive HC candidate that he’s got a little taste of coaching on defense in his background. Including coaching under Robert Saleh in SF.
