August 8th to even week 1 would have been a long time for "plenty else to do and see" to kill time 😆

    Notes:
    * the Mirage is closing in July for a three year refurb/construction
    * wouldn't be surprised if the Copperfield show at MGM closes soon/quickly, based on recent news publications

I think I worded it weird. I was hoping to do Vegas for Morgan Wallen on the 8th, then go to the Panthers a few months later maybe in November not just a month later in September. How is that sphere thing? I’ve been to Vegas probably 50 times so I’m beyond most of the tourist poo but that sphere looks kind of cool for a show.

I live in Northern California and am considering making the trip down there for that game.

I’m Bay Area myself. I was hoping the game would be later because I am going to the same stadium to see Morgan Wallen and Jelly Roll on August 8th, but there is plenty else to do and see in Vegas so no big deal.

He's a great fit for that system. He may not have all the talent of the others, but he also doesn't fold under pressure like many of them have.

It’s a trip watching 49ers game because all Purdy does is make great reads and great throws with very little fanfare about it.

If that in facts happen, do you think they will shoe horn Young into a 3rd season and draft another guy?

Honestly not with a new coach. New coach often means new QB. When you are a new coach with an abysmal year two QB I think you go in another direction. That being said, I HOPE that BY takes major strides and becomes a decent NFL player. My concern is I don’t think he will ever be a star. I think his ceiling is Jake Delhomme. Maybe that’s enough to will is to a SB like Jake did, but I’m not betting on it, and I’m a degenerate gambler.

I'll explain it to you like somebody who still gives a poo about whether people wear a mask alone in their car.

Anthony Fauci and Bill Gates' transgender chemtrails were distributed by George Soros via cans of Bud Light with Dylan Mulvaney's face on it to Hunter Biden's laptop.  This was then telepathically transmitted to Seth Rich who used his ivermectin and HCQ powered brain waves to make Bryce Young throw inaccurate passes.

I apologize in advance I don’t know what any of that means. Thanks for attempting to enlighten me though, it’s appreciated.

  6. Is this a good trade value wise? 100%.

Do I have any faith whatsoever that this organization will do something good with it. Not at all.

That’s pretty much me in a nutshell with this team right now. years ago I would have been super excited about this. I now feel like a battered wife.

The only guy who gets it.

Man this fanbase doesn't look at the big picture.

In fairness our “Big Picture” has been shot since SB50. We are a rudderless ship with no vision, no talent on the team, and worse, no talent in the front office.

We'll compete again. In 8-10 years.

You’re an eternal optimist. At this point I think the Prime Minister of Haiti knows how to do their job better than anyone in this organization lmao.

Pretty much. We are still trying to scrape the crap off our boots so it's not over.

This is the only franchise that could try and sit down to scrape the $hit off its boots and wind up sitting in $hit, and then after realizing they were sitting in $hit and tried to get up, put their hand in $hit as well. So what was JUST $hit on our boots is now $hit on our jeans and our hand. That’s the Panthers in a nutshell.

    Sure. I’m in

Ok. Remind me at end of season if I owe you because I’ll forget.

But there is like maybe 1% chance I lose that bet.

And I’d like to stipulate if I may the bet should be a push if they start someone other than BY. If they find a guy on the street that used to play XFL ball we might win 6+, but no chance with BY. See you at the end of the season friend!

By the time we recover from this mess we will either have to pay Bryce Young or look at drafting his replacement. The entire point of having a QB on a rookie contract is being able to pay and retain your high end talent.

This is NFL purgatory and I’m not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Because there is no light. The light from the star that is success is so distant from this franchise it will take light years to reach us. We will all be dead before the franchise even gets to rock bottom, with another 20+ years after that until we sniff the playoffs again. Bryce Young’s great grandchildren will be old enough to play for the Panthers by the time this team gets out from underneath all of these moves.

Spend your Sundays going to church or taking up a new hobby. I personally have learned how to play guitar, sew, cook, and done some pretty badass woodworking with the time I have spent not watching the Panthers. I mean don’t get me wrong, they play on the tv in my garage, but it’s in the background and on mute so I can enjoy other things in life.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy clothing or memorabilia or tickets or TV packages that benefit the team. All you can do is hope Tepper loses so much money in a year that he has to sell it. Then at least we will only be 3 generations away from a winning team instead of 4 or 5.

    Success!
