Clearly the rest of the league knows more about good coaching than the average fan

It’s gonna sound awful but do not underestimate the amount of NFL teams that will want to interview him simply to satisfy the Rooney Rule. It’s a reality I am sure Evero and his team are acutely aware of.

Bridge tier QB.  If you put Atlanta to the side, great games flat out have never existed in his 3 year career.  And his good isn’t on par with good games of other NFL QBs.   There comes a ceiling with Bryce that isn’t undeniable and that just isn’t what any team in the NFL longs for.

He can be the QB next year, you just can’t pay him because we have to be looking for the actual future at the QB spot.

he played a very good game for Bryce yesterday…..and every QB that played yesteray (and no one was great) generated more offense for their teams.   And we got legit weapons.  I don’t care where Coker was drafted.  No one feels sorry for Stafford because Puca was a late pick.

My biggest fear with Bryce Young is that he will always do just enough to stick around. He shows flashes and then drops a turd so the hopium is always there. Like his career highlight reel if you cut it up to some hype music and did a YouTube video would actually be quite good. His great plays really, really look good. But after that video you look at his yearly averages for completion percentage, yardage, touchdowns, and virtually every other metric and it is meh as fug. Like you know Bryce is gonna be 13/23 for 157 yards a touchdown and probably a pick.

I will 100% give him his flowers for his athleticism and ability to scramble outside the pocket. I haven’t seen the mythical “super processing ability” he was touted for per se, but he has shown flashes of absolutely elite awareness when it comes to scrambling. The little basketball move he does to shake defensive linemen has almost become a signature move. It’s hard to explain but you know it when you see it he stops on a dime and pivots like he is gonna hit a step back jumper and it has gotten him out of a lot of trouble.

I sincerely, truly, as a vocal Bryce HATER, hope that since we are obviously running with him next year the coaching staff actually tailors plays around his strengths. He needs to be in a pure spread IMO. His size is much less of a hindrance when he can play QB in open space. I feel like most of his highlight reel is from scrambles and play action/bootlegs.

He was so worried about them beating us deep he just let them waltz to the end zone.

That was inexcusable defense on that drive.

Don’t understand with 2:37 left and both teams with three timeouts why you wouldn’t let them burn you over the top. Who cares if Nakua torches you for a 70 yard touchdown? Then you’re down 3 with like 2:12 and three timeouts. You can’t let them complete 5 of 5 passes underneath while milking two minutes it really is inexcusable.

this team needs some spread elements. It’s what the QB is most comfortable with and the personnel around him are suited for more old school power run play action shots.

get a spread back, get a true Y piece, get a fast yac merchant so we can actually split the 2 high and actually incorporate some wr screens in for easy yardage

If we are rolling with BY as our guy moving forward we need to scheme around his talents and run exclusive spread offense. Like running a Gus Malzahn or Todd Monken offense.

So, I had to work and missed 90% on the game.
Anyone mind telling when this happened?  Did they have to play a lot without him?
I hate it for him especially so late in the year, that is really going to impact us next year.

Him and Hunt both got hurt and the running game actually came to life with them out. The scheme looked much better letting Bryce roll out and do his thing. Not saying we are better off without Ickey but today, in this game, the offensive line to me looked better with him out.

gronk is on the broadcast to lure the bras in who boycotted the NFL, after  a major commercial sponsor dared show some dude that was a bit effeminate acting in a commercial and their tiny dicks got embarrassingly hard watching him.

There is a lot to unpack in this post and it hurts my feelings that I don’t know what you’re referring to.

  7. Believe it or not I’m good rolling into next season with Tmac and Coker. Slot guys are much easier to get. Evans showed a lot of promise. Today’s offensive line looked good considering it was a hot swap substitution group because of injury. Sometimes it’s x’s and o’s, sometimes it is jimmies and joes. Today felt like we had halfway competent players with a completely inept coaching staff. I have never been a fan of BY and poo on him every chance I get, but when he was allowed to cook today he did ok. Playcalling was trash throughout.

Yep this is why I've said every DC we have ever had has done this. I can't remember one who did not...maybe back in 02-03?. Anyway even in our best years we had to win having the ball last.

Del Rio was a perfect example of this. So frustrating he would call a great fuging game and then boom prevent the win defense like clockwork.

Then they score quicker and we have more time to get a field goal. In that situation you need to know if they are going to score or not so you have to force it one way or the other. A sack is huge, but also a quick score let's you respond. Playing our coverage past first down markers is literally the worst of both yards you let them burn time and march up the field in increments. Coaching fail.

Huge fail. Literally with 2:37 left let Puka smoke you over the top for a 60 yard TD. Then you have the ball back with 2+ minutes and three timeouts and their defense hasn’t been able to stop you. Evero should be fired, and his family should be shamed for generations because of his disgusting failure. He should do the honorable thing and quit, at least I could respect that he acknowledges he is worthless that way. What a shameful performance.

  10. If Evero is allowed to even walk back into the locker room I have lost all faith in this franchise. You can’t play soft defense like that. With two minutes left play tight and if they beat you over the top no big deal you got the ball with plenty of time left. There is only one thing you CANNOT do. That is let them complete 7-12 yard passes in front of your limp dick coverage eating up the clock. That’s quite literally the ONLY thing you can’t let them do. Sad. Team deserved this upset win man.
