He took a pay cut already
Ok so Tuttle is staying. Over to weak side DE maybe.

Yeah, I think the DT room is getting crowded. He is definitely on watch. Hopefully he'll be switched to DE in the 3-4 where he probably belongs.
Yeah anyone 6'3 or taller and around 300 pounds can move to DE. I think I would put Tuttle at weak side DE, and Brown at strong side DE, and Cam Jackson at NT. Not right away of course, but something for the future if Tuttle isn't cut.

We're probably not going to be shy about cutting Tuttle either.

Just get equal points and it's fine.

All we need are safeties who are intelligent and decently athletic. The pass rush should do the rest. The biggest problem we faced at the safety position was busted coverage, false steps, bad angles, and a general lack of athleticism. We can fix all of that in the draft with smarter more athletic safeties and it won't cost an arm and a leg. No problem. No need to spend big bucks. The d-line gets the big bucks, and CB1 and CB2. The middle you need smart guys with decent athleticism imo, not expensive superstars.

Young has earned the starting spot for next season. If we win 5 games in 2025, then get his ass out of here.

I'd build a defensive monstrosity up front first and worry about LBs later.

Young finished strong, and so he's the guy. Not shocking. We build up the defense and hope for the best next season.
I don't really envision winning a SB with Young in the long run, but at this point I just want to watch mostly competitive games. Make it interesting and give us a shot at making the playoffs most seasons. I think that's realistic with Young moving forward, and if not then we can move on to a new QB.

Worst of the defense
13. OLB D.J. Wonnum: 40.8
14. OLB Cam Gill: 39.7
15. OLB DJ Johnson: 38.5
16. DT A’Shawn Robinson: 34.9
17. ILB Chandler Wooten: 27.4Richardson’s tie in stops found him sitting alongside Wooten, who missed two tackles as well. He was also charged with allowing seven receptions for 184 yards over eight targets.
DJ Wonnum, Cam Gill and DJ Johnson combined for just two pressures.
Wooten the hell is he doing on this team?

XL can go ahead with the wrist surgery and start rehabbing for next season now imo. We're eliminated and Canales' job is safe.

We're at out best when we're already eliminated. (W)

Like every season we won't know anything until the live fire starts. However, I am impressed with the high level of optimism from everyone in the organization. Canales was even mentioning making the playoffs. Wow.
