  1. damn I was real lol the whole video, thanks for posting. Just a reminder of how CMC is respected in this league and worth every penny.
  2. I didn't like the idea when we signed him, didn't know him, thought he would be trouble. Now he's my favorite bear on the team. Love his honesty, humor and effort.
  3. Opened with the clip from last week where Chinn talked about being embraced by the Carolina community and wanted to give back by learning the Carolina's sports figures and wearing their jerseys to home games and auctioning them out. Pete Shrager said he loved the idea and had a list of players to suggest for Jeremy. They showed Chinn arriving in the Mugsy jersey, then Pete suggested: Tim Biakabutuka, the original 21, our first big star according to Pete. Larry Johnson Christian Laettner Rob Brind'Amour of the Hurricanes George Rogers, Heisman winner at South Carolina Lawrence Taylor (does he have a charity?) Dale Earnhardt Jr. Dawn Staley, Gamecock and Charlotte Sting Julius Peppers Steve Smith. others said Davidson's Steph Curry should be on the list, and of course Michael Jordan.
  4. we'll see if I remember that process next time it happens....50/50 lol
  5. does this still look like some wierd version of dark mode? Darin Gantt @daringantt Christian McCaffrey has a great plan for self-preservation during the regular season — “make people miss and not get tackled." That’s why the Panthers don’t plan to take any chances with him in the preseason.
  6. he is IOL they tried moving to OLB for some reason. Interesting.
  7. interesting. If the tweet doesn't have pic or video I just copy and paste so it loads faster...I'm on desktop, maybe that isn't an issue on mobile platforms. I can embed if needed. I'm not in dark mode in twitter or on the Huddle, so don't know why that's happening.
  8. The Panthers made three of the roster moves they needed to make by Tuesday's deadline, waiving three players following practice. The Panthers waived wide receiver Krishawn Hogan, guard Marquel Harrell, and defensive tackle Walter Palmore. Harrell and Palmer were signed last week, while Hogan was signed early in camp after a tryout. The Panthers have to reduce the roster from 85 to 80 by tomorrow's 4 p.m. deadline, so they need to make two more moves this week. The final cut to 53 has to be in by next Tuesday, Aug. 31. https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-waive-three-players-ahead-of-deadline
  9. Jonathan M Alexander @jonmalexander · 2h Frankie Luvu continuing to make plays throughout camp. David Newton @DNewtonespn · 2h Panthers WR DJ Moore (back) practicing after sitting out Saturday’s game. Alaina Getzenberg @agetzenberg · 2h WR Keith Kirkwood (concussion protocol) and DE Marquis Haynes (shoulder) in limited practice jerseys today.
  10. Alaina Getzenberg @agetzenberg · 50m Christian McCaffrey will be “very, very limited” during the third preseason game vs. the Steelers. Alaina Getzenberg @agetzenberg · 49m Sounds like it’s very likely he won’t play at all. Jonathan M Alexander @jonmalexander · 22m Reddick had a vet day off. He was a little sore from the game and joint practices. Tremble had an excused absence for personal reasons. Expected to return tomorrow. Alaina Getzenberg @agetzenberg · 52m Matt Rhule says that rookie TE Tommy Tremble is absent for personal reasons. S Kenny Robinson’s knee injury suffered during the preseason game should keep him out 1-2 weeks. Good news. Darin Gantt @daringantt · 38m Matt Rhule said he wants starters to get a good half (or maybe less) Friday against the Steelers, with the exception of McCaffrey. He’s likely on the shelf until the Jets game. Christian seems OK with that. Darin Gantt @daringantt · 2h John Miller working on the side at the moment. Dennis Daley with the ones at right guard. Darin Gantt @daringantt · 2h It’s actually hotter for this practice than it was at any point in Spartanburg. Probably won’t be a long one. Haason Reddick and Tommy Tremble headline today’s absences. DJ Moore is practicing after sitting Saturday.
  11. I don't pay much attention to PFF, but at least they can keep snaps. PFF @PFF · 10m #Panthers rookie Brady Christensen this preseason: 55 pass-blocking snaps 0 sacks allowed
  12. also think about how young our weapons are. We are set for a good 4 to 5 years...if Sam can be the man, we can focus on improving our OL next year in the draft.
  13. Rhule and Brady want 3 very good receivers at all times. Last year Rhule said "that's our fastball." Brady's offense works better with those options. Now we just need a QB to get the ball to them. If Darnold gets enough time from our line, he has no excuses. It's really an incredible cast of talent for a QB. Imagine dropping back with those 3 receivers running wild, and a good TE now, and CMC as your check down. Whoa nelly
  14. Will Palaszczuk @WilliePStyle · 8m Both Indy and Baltimore have significantly better depth than #Panthers do. That's what the last two weeks have showcased.
  15. article says this does not preclude us signing DJ. I'm guess it fits in with Terrace's rookie deal, which is doable and fuggin smart. 3 WR at starter level for 4 more years. Hope it's true.
  16. The Panthers locked up one of Sam Darnold’s offensive-line protectors over the summer and are on the verge of keeping one of his favorite targets around a while, as well. The team is deep in talks on a multiyear extension for wide receiver Robby Anderson and could finalize the deal in the next several days, a league source told The Athletic. https://theathletic.com/2781964/2021/08/21/the-panthers-are-about-to-lock-up-robby-anderson-and-sam-darnold-should-be-happy/
  17. oh my https://theathletic.com/2781964/2021/08/21/the-panthers-are-about-to-lock-up-robby-anderson-and-sam-darnold-should-be-happy/
