Most think they won the trade. LA gave up a lot for Williams.
he’s only played in 40% of his possible games. Statistically is one of the worst defenders in the NBA as well and they got an unprotected first round pick, a swap and a good promising player.
Now we have no center. Williams has way more potential than anything we got from them. I have no idea why teams always help the Lakers get better then complain that big market teams get everything they want while small markets struggle

Moving the team is probably a lot cheaper than paying off Texas politicians to legalize gambling too.
They've been trying that route and it hasn't worked they want to build a new arena inside a casino in Dallas. I believe that they're trying to tank the team to facilitate a move. I wonder if Cuban has regrets. He loved the team and probably is pissed

3 seasons, 3 straight 1000+ seasons. You might not get a top 10 for him but he is easily worth a first round pick.
He's on the last year of his deal. Same reason we got jack poo for burns, he's about to get PAID.

They're not getting a top 10 pick for him. Id trade our second for him though. Best defensive player available then Wilson then defense for the rest of the draft

I'm sure they were probably asking him to take a significant pay cut on an extension and he balked. He's still a good receiver when he's on the field but he's missed a lot of games over the last three seasons.
Did you watch him towards the end of the season and in the playoffs. If he's not washed he's very very close. Maybe he was still dealing with injuries and I'm wrong but he did not look like a guy that has another 2-3 years left

The realtor sees more commission. Unless you're doing the work yourself you will almost certainly not recoup your costs.
Maybe, or maybe they see no commission and no sale if these projects aren't completed. I see A LOT of homes sitting in the current market and it isn't always because its over priced. If a home isn't move in ready it's not selling that well. People are maxing out their budgets just to be able to afford a home so going in and having projects to complete is a deal breaker for a ton of buyers right now. You're right they aren't going to recoup 100% of costs to get these projects done but if they have a bunch of half done projects they're going to have to take a really big hit to convince someone to buy

The defense isn't bad because we've used top picks on offense it's bad because our drafting has been straight dookie

Ask them in a week.
Commanders aren't properly using their best back so we will see which way works better you're right.

But to the level they have been paid?
Yeah I mean 200 yards in a divisional game means jack. I'm sure the eagles regret paying barkely

But did they significantly outpace the guys in the 3rd round or later? The only one in recent memory to do that is Henry.
Furthermore, not a single one of those guys has sniffed a championship. That's really more the point. The track record of top RB's or top PAID RB's getting to championships is quite bad. There is a reason for that.
Id say healthy cmc and barkely outpace 3rd round picks yes and by quite a lot

His philosophy has bit them in the ass 2 straight playoffs. That Jameson Williams pass was a stupid fuging play call by Johnson as well. I'm not sure he will ever win a superbowl. The best coaches can adapt style a bit. Campbell only knows one way

Big Pat doing the damn thing!!! Would be really cool to see him catch on and make the world cup team. He reminds me a bit of Altidore. That big physical presence that's been lacking on the team

From the second episode...
I wouldn't call it heartbreaking. There are certain things you can do to prevent having 8 kids.

I gave up trying to embed this one. The board is extra crappy today
Maybe I get pooed on but while I understand the point of the rooney rule I think it's stupid and patronizing if you've already made up your mind who you're going to hire to interview people you have no interest in hiring just to check a box. If you're doing a coaching search it 100% makes sense. But yes please take draft picks from them or something because fug the pats

I believe he earned the job for 2025. I believe he can be the qb on a team that can compete in a weak division. Maybe he can win a playoff game. As of right now I don't believe he can win a super bowl. We've been so bad for so long now I don't care. Just be the guy that can keep us competitive a la Alex Smith until we get the guy that can win us a super bowl with the roster we build around you.

Legette isn't a good receiver and it's not his fault we traded up to draft him in the 1st. He's the type of boom/bust prospect who should probably go in the 3rd round. He was better as a rookie than I expected. Let's see what he looks like. Being a miserable bastard off the field isn't going to help you play any better.
Would bet money it was a tepper pick because of his accent.

Honestly I'd rather Morgan pull a Hurney and take a linebacker. Walker or Jihaad Campbell. I think the line can be fixed...our linebackers were atrocious this year however. The league is trending towards the running game again and we don't have a chance if we don't have linebackers that can stop the run.
Does Hurney have a job? He should consult Morgan on the 1st round pick and that pick only. Hurney was incredible at eying all-pro talent in the first, but thats about all he could do
Stop bagging on Hurney. He's the goat compared to shitterer

Just a question would you trade #8 for Wilson and #42? I would
I would. Wilson and 42 will make more of an impact than anyone we would get at number 8 would next year. Definitely wouldn't be my starting offer but I'd do it

My point of view it is really important about the character of who they bring in…
is he a ‘teammate’ player or a ‘me’player
i dont know a lot about Wilson as a teammate
Divas can be problematic on a rebuilding team
You want a number 1 wr. They're going to be a diva, it's just a fact. I'd give a 2 and 4 for him

I had the same thought, but if you have no starting safeties, do you re-sign the one who is not a starter to play STs? Not sure what his second contract would look like, but if he can be had cheap, I agree.
He's a league min guy

The head coach builds the culture--I like the positivity--lotta ups and downs during a season, and football is very mental. Bryce fed off the positivity, I have no doubt. We finished the last 9 games 4-5 and almost beat KC, Philly, and TB during that stretch. You can SEE when the players started buying in.
Yeah you definitely could. It was the win in Germany the bye and coming back and playing the chiefs the way they did. You could hear it in thielens interview after the chiefs game

Except history says we can't draft for poo or win a trade while okc consistently smashes draft picks and always robs people blind on trades
