I spiraled when we traded down in the 2nd. I spiraled again (really bad) when we traded down again. The Christensen pick saved it for me a little. I thought we’d missed out on the LTs, but I’m happy with the picks. Marshall makes contested catches and he’s fast with good size. This offense a traditional TE is not a priority, so I knew we needed and Hback type. I liked Shi Smith as a late round target for us. Brown=Mauler. Wanted Nixon with our 4th pick in round 4.
The only reason to hate this draft is if you really wanted Fields or Jones...that’s it.

I lost all faith in Fitts when he answered questions like a fat pussy last night. He was sweating, stuttering, this your team bitch. Of course we would get fleeced, Fitts is a bottom bitch

I hate trade downs. I also hate Fitts. He’s a fat boy, I’d have stolen his lunch. He’s a stain

Radunz, Cosmi, and Jenkins are guys who are worthy at OT in Round 2
I’m of the belief that Rhule has a crush on Grant. Heard him yelling every time Grant did something good at the Senior Bowl. My belief is that is who we pick. The cupboard is bare at Safety in this team.

With Elijah Moore on the board. Going to be hard to pass up for Grant. I like grant though. Center fielder would be great, but man...Robbie and DJs contracts are up.

Cosmi is like in the 98% percentile of everything at that position.
When I watch him and ignore where players are ranked....first rounder all day. I feel like Texas players get no hype nowadays
-
Elijah Moore or Rondale Moore I suppose.
I think if Cosmi didn’t play for a D2 program like Texas he’d have already been gone. 6’7” 310 left tackle all day. Reminds me of Lane Johnson. Light feet, I would be ecstatic if we got one of these 3.

Moehrig
Grant
Jenkins
BARMORE

I like Leatherwood who is an OT from Alabama. Projects well in a quick passing rpo heavy scheme.
Who also got drafted 15 picks ago

We’ll take Kellen Mond tomorrow.
You ever watched a Kellen Mond game?

Farley at 8 would be tough. He’s not a top 10 guy even if he’d never sprained an ankle or had a leg cramp

Elfein and Miller going to start at G. CB, OT, S, TE.
OT and safety has an asterisk, would have to be a top end talent. Sewell, Slater at OT. Grant, Johnson, Holland at S

Legend has it that Jeff Otah and Kelvin Benjamin man the bakery at Golden Corral. They don’t even pay them. They offered free employee meals, been working there for a while. Gettleman got them connected.

I honestly think that Greg Newsome is a better corner anyway and he's gaining a LOT of steam. I think he's a bigger threat for Farely falling to the 2nd over his back.
That's just my take anyway. Farley is enticing but the injury concerns and him being more raw than Surtain, Horn and Newsome and Kelvin Joseph make him my CB5.
Newsome isn’t as big as these guys. But he has better hip flip, better drive on the ball, and is a more fluid athlete than either of the rest of them.
-
I’ve got no issues taking Fields if he’s there. Great athlete and can make all the throws. Shorter Cam Newton, not as physical near the goaline. Fields is faster, ran a 4.45 40....allegedly. I’ve been rooting against him on Saturdays and I’ve saw him throw some damn ropes.
That being said if we can trade back and get Horn, Surtain, Fairley, or Newsome I’m good with that. Trade back and Slater, boy that’d be gorgeous. Not a fan of Darrisaw. I actually prefer Cosmi and Jenkins over him and the receivers too.
-
Should still go round one. Should be 4th corner.
1. Horn
2. Surtain
3. Newsome
4. Farley

Sage Surratt, WF, WR
I could see Sage going in round 3. Elite body control. A lot of little guys in this draft, I think that increases his value a little
-
WR- Tyler Vaughns USC. 20 career TD, 900+ yards in 2019. Specifically I like that he uses his feet to get open. Long arms make him bigger than his listed 6’2”
-
I was nervous when my team was playing Louisville and TuTu had the ball. That doesn’t always translate, but.
Speaking of measurements. Sewell looks about 6’2” on tape and his knees bend inward. Weird looking fellow.
-
You know who I love, but is too high at 8 and won’t be available Round 2? Greg Newsome. Love his movement skills. In my opinion, you have 4 marquee corners and then a big drop. Some talent is in this draft for OL and WR that can be secured in Round 2
