Total bullshit stat. Cam Ward’s receivers dropped 8 passes Sunday.
-
Told ya’ll on the AT trade threads. Realistically you have 3 starting WR in the NFL. You are now one injury away from David Moore or Jimmy Horn starting. I’m sure the 4th or whatever the hell it ended up being was worth it.
-
Opened this thread expecting to see Travelle Wharton vs. Damione Lewis the other day. I miss the real Carolina Panthers man.
-
He already played in a 3 man front and quite well….but go off on his true fit.

Post- Training Camp 53-Man Roster Projection
Swaggasaurus replied to Seltzer's topic in Carolina Panthers
AT was on a back to back 1,000 yd pace last year. Without the injury it happens. I’m not sure what we are talking about here. Yeah let’s toss that guy to the curb for a guy who’s never played an NFL game, the Raccon slayer who can’t catch and an UDFA who has shown promise and injury so far. Oh yeah, we have a slow, small guy who sat out last year. Wildly insane, padded room type poo. -
Post- Training Camp 53-Man Roster Projection
Swaggasaurus replied to Seltzer's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m sorry but banking on “developing” TMac, XL, and Coker is some wishful thinking. Just look at the history of this franchise. JT Sanders is a fun athlete, but he’s kind of just a chubby Legette right now. Bouncing AT for these guys THIS season is putting the cart before the horse at minimum -
The Panthers have an effort problem

It doesn’t matter if you are the Chiefs or the Browns, you aren’t giving extended snaps to your best players in the pre season. All teams are 2 injuries away from disaster. -
Panthers playbook Cox and Rhea review of the game
Swaggasaurus replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
That’s our identity on offense. At least we found one, only took about a decade. This offense is going to be heavy dose of run game and Bryce trying to throw into a bucket for 1 on 1s. Sprinkle in some quick slants and Bryce improv and that’s us. -
I feel like I could hire 5 dudes from any FedEx hub in America and upgrade our ILB, S, and D.Coordinator rooms significantly.
-
I think we look all right. Rozeboom and Wallace each had a decent play. Would like to see someone else in that room make a play. Like the WR corps. Need to find a PR.

Bam Martin-Scott: Most likely UDFA to stick?
Swaggasaurus replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
Fits the mold of downhill thumper. You want to ideally have a guy that doesn’t get washed out vs the run and the other guy to have range vs the run and pass for your setup at ILB. We’ve had neither for some time. -
Frank comment about Bryce? "Excited"
Swaggasaurus replied to PanthersATL's topic in Carolina Panthers
Is it factual that Frank and other coaches wanted CJ and was overruled by Tepper? Rumor mill until Frank or Tepper says otherwise for me. And even if he did, it’s still really up in the air who the better QB will be. -
The guy will never be a real off ball inside backer. Undersized 3-4 edge who sometimes rushes from the middle of the defense. Tenacious player, probably going to be a solid pass rusher who gives up some in the run game. I like him, but it’s what he is.
-
Aside from maybe the Vikings QB room, this is perhaps the worst position group on any team in the NFL.
-
Harrison-Hunte was stuck as a 4-3 DT at Miami. His game never really fit that spot, not sure what front they ran at SMU. 3-4 End is the right spot for him. With Brown, Wharton, and Robinson at that spot, maybe he can compete with LaBryan Ray and Crumedy for the depth role.
-
Hope so. Wallace’s go to move is to grab the RB after they are 5 yards up field and hold on for dear life. Not ideal.
-
Better than what we have. Jewell/Shaq is better than Jewell/Whatever the guy who wears 56 and gets his lunch took.
-
I’m pretty much fuging over this guy. He’s got himself on wayyy to high a pedestal. Also…see Jonathan Mingo.

If Bryce doesn’t produce, we moving on?
Swaggasaurus replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
For sure. Was the right call to stand pat this year even with a couple of sliders. Bryce showed enough in the 2nd half to get the keys to start the season and we needed to assure our confidence in him. -
When Dan says “Mister Tepper” it’s like he’s holding back from throwing up. Bright side…Canales seems to be a really likeable guy. Could see him easily relating to the players.

Round 5, Pick 27 (#163) - Mitchell Evans, TE, Notre Dame
Swaggasaurus replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have the same issue with JT that I have with Legette. Catching the ball when the game is on the line. Our pass catching picks improved us for this reason alone. -

The LB Bam Martin Scott looks like he could have some potential as a downhill thumper. No idea what Evero wants in a LB because they have been fudging awful since he’s been here. -
OFFICIAL Undrafted Free Agent thread
Swaggasaurus replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Jacolby George likes to fight DB’s during the play as much as catching the ball. Like Sam Franklin in receiver form.
