Have a feeling that "Bryce Cream" didn't test well with the target consumer
I initially told my wife that it was a “Bryce Cream Bar” and she immediately referenced a different type of nut. But I’m going to buy some Snickers Ice Cream bars now, so it was good marketing

Your list is probably right. But my god Thomas Davis was a gifted individual.

The level of Luvu disrespect is unreal. The guy should’ve been selected to the Pro Bowl last year

He ranked like 68th out 70 among starters in 2020.
Hey Jackie were you find that stat? Curious about the same for Floyd, Quinn, and Ingram assuming they all played LB last year.

Except that it's a very effective play on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1
So are all others ya jabroni. Specifically the QB sneak, but I don’t feel size is a factor there.More about the motion of the ocean.

Dude I don't even watch college football except for to watch prospects. I have no allegiences what so ever to any program. I was just pointing out that they gave Ojulari the number points to him being a high character, hard working guy. The Brian Kelly poo is irrelevant to the comparison of two prospects.
How many players have we seen that have all the tools and traits fail in the NFL because they don't have the mental makeup for it? Literally countless.
I felt the #18 poo was irrelevant as well and it’s cornball. DJ Johnson could easily bust, easily. The Ojulari argument is baffling whether he wore 18 or 69 or played at LSU or UNC. 6 sacks in power 5 is 6 sacks in power 5 to me.
Ojulari….the better prospect heads up. But this weird argument that he was worthy of 39 and we should have went there, but Johnson is an F minus pick at 80 is absurd when you compare both production in 2022 and testing numbers.

Ojulari plays in the SEC
Johnson plays in the PAC12
Ojulari is 21
Johnson is 24, will turn 25 in his first season (how old Burns is right now)
Ojulari was a leader on his side of the ball and awarded LSU's No. 18 which is only given to standout guys that exemplify what it means to be a LSU tiger
Johnson was caught on video sucker punching a fan
Ojulari posted a 7.44 3 cone with a hamstring injury
Johnson posted a healthy 7.33
They're not even close to the same level of prospect.
Third year at OLB vs first year. Stats don’t lie.
I get the age knock and still don’t like the pick. But BJ Ojulari is a poor argument. I don’t give a fug about #18, it’s irrelevant.Brian Kelly is a murderer, don’t tell me anything about character and reference a school that hired a murderer.

The BJ Ojulari argument is one of the worst that I can remember. His stats matched Johnson’s last year despite it being the first year Johnson has played the position. Yep the huddles draft crush got matched by a first year 25 year old with zero pass rushing technique. Woof. What an indictment on Ojulari

Pick is still a head scratcher but every time I look at the picks it makes me feel better. Around pick 60 the suck really entered this draft.
Covid super seniors really changed the landscape of this draft. There are guys who are better than those who were drafted who haven’t started a game yet in CFB. It’s just weird.

No Foreman, no power back, no Cam auto conversions anymore, a new skinny 5 10 QB.
Seems like a problem. Any of you have ideas?
You know when you bring in a “power back” on 4th and 1 you are telegraphing quite a bit. Pretty much a handoff to that person or PA fake with a roll out. It’s one of the dumbest things that teams do. If you open your eyes you’ll see that type of thing get stuffed a lot

Some reactions today are just strange in general. The staff is being upfront and explaining their decisions.
Saw someone elsewhere claiming a Chinn is our backup “SS”, like wtf?
I think many are still used to the 4-3 prototypes that had some hybrid looks and aren’t seeing the 3-4 sub packages that have 5 & 6 DB looks (w/2 NB) that Denver & SF have run.
Frank clearly said we have 4 specific types at EDGE to fill. Burns is A, Haynes is being mad overlooked as B, DJ Johnson likely C and YGM battling Barno for D.
I took that as 4 specific types of LB. Don’t think you can have 4 specific types of OLB, numbers don’t work to have that luxury.

True. I think he could be faster. If he will play as an edge he needs to lose 40 lbs.
No idea what you are talking about. He’s going to play 5tech and he’s the perfect size

Are there any CBs left worth drafting? Would be nice to get someone who can be ready to go if (when) Horn/Jackson go down.
I really like Jaylon Jones out of ATM no idea where he tests or ranks. Rush is a nice long corner with upside.

Remember his coach at Oregon for all but last year was that doofus Mario Cristobal who couldn’t even properly utilize Justin Herbert
As a Miami fan, this has me tripping, no lie. But maybe DJ is a 3-4 OLB only guy. Richt didn’t run 3-4 at Miami. Mario ran 4-3 at Oregon. Maybe Lannings 3-4 was the key to unlocking who Johnson really is

BJ did it in the SEC for years though. Wouldn’t call a guy who did it in the PAC12 once the same production.
and the mature 24 year old punched a fan. In the back of the head. Just last season. That’s not exactly the dog mentality we have been lacking IMO. That’s dumb on display and lack of basic control.
Counter: BJ’s production in year 3 at OLB was matched by a guy who played TE the year before. God damn BJ Olujari is one of the strangest board obsessions I can remember. You have to be a dumb fug to punch a fan tho…real talk there

So..the Oregon Reddit has a number of commenters who are happy for him but really stunned he went as high as he did.
It is stunning. It doesn’t mean the sky is falling. He’s not like Gaulden because he’s an elite athlete. He’s not like Kugbila because he didn’t play at Podunk st. But his stats are like BJ Olujari who this board was in love with because a guy with bad hair and some nerds named Walter or Daniel told them do be.

"These picks don't matter anyway" is how you slowly, invisibly lower you chances of winning until you take yourself out of contention completely. We're short a third from the Corral trade and a fourth from the DJ Johnson trade, when according to the front office, a third and a fourth is the price for a guy who's so good that you just have to jump up and take him. A guy like DJ Johnson or Matt Corral!
Missed evaluations happen everywhere. Quantity does not always equal quality. To quote the horrible Dave Gettleman, “do you want a quarter or do you want 5 nickels?”
We might have missed out on a game changer by trading 132, but likely not. Review picks 39-80 and even the ones after and get back with me on your can’t miss guys

They guy has 0 pass rush moves with his hands. Biggest red flag, but he only played rush LB for a year. I destroyed the pick for 10 mins on here and Twitter, but I’m over it. I get why the pick was made and my initial reaction was short sighted and microwaved
