Official Panthers - Seahawks Gameday Thread

They were in a run defense formation, nine in the box. -
I bet none of them even notice the plays where Armanti made an impact without showing up on the stat sheet. Like on LaFell's TD, he ran a pick route across the formation that forced LaFell's defender to break outside and the linebacker to have to cut across him, leaving LaFell wide open.

Rotation at DE, part of Giants philosophy. Gettis still making rookie errors. White made a case as good tackler, run defender.

So we need to A.) find a team in need of secondary help so bad that they'd want a pint-sized slot corner, and B.) that team has to have a good to decent backup right tackle they're willing to give away, and C.) they'd have to be in a different division since intra-division trades are very rare.

His blocking was by far the worst part of his game, so they probably decided to use as many live game snaps as possible to give him practice at it.

I am dumbfounded at how flippantly people say things like this. Yeah, let's just turn on the cheat mode in Madden, than the CPU will give anyone for Munnerlyn. . .
-
He was cut early in camp.
-
Does this mean Wes Horton made it?
-
Gettis waived/injured likely means stashing on IR if they want to keep him.
-
If it's not the best idea then why do it?

A common question on the Huddle.

I'd be hiding in an abandoned cabin outside of cell service.

Coaches must be agonizing over the last few cuts. . .
-
I didn't reply because I honestly couldn't remember where I found the pic and when I went looking I got. . .preoccupied.
-
His first INT was a good disguised coverage, the 2nd one the receiver fell down and it was thrown directly to him. He's here for his special teams play first and foremost.

The knock on Chandler has been his run blocking. However, that being said, he finished the preseason playing 55 snaps against Pittsburgh at LT and preserved his 100% pass blocking efficiency, has only committed 1 penalty in all 4 games combined, and graded at +2.0 overall with a +1.5 in pass blocking and even a +0.1 in run blocking in the final game. He has given up no QB hurries, hits, or sacks in 127 total snaps. Granted, he still has a long way to go but his overall performance has been highly encouraging.

We didn't cut Peppers. And he didn't want to be here. Can we let that go, I haven't looked at our d-line since and thought "gee, I wish we had paid Peppers a ton of money."
-
It's like our staff is going by the PFF's grades. . .Armond graded higher than Poole (much higher in the run game) and Florence was the 4th worst defender on the roster according them.

Besides, if Cam taking a knee during drills he's not involved in is a lack of leadership then he might as well start doing all the coaching too.

. . .urge to use powers for evil against retarded fans of other teams. . .rising. . .

I asked a friend of who is at camp about Amini and he said it looked got clipped in the ankle on that play, but that Star had been winning their matchups more often than not.

I thought Jones was brought in for a look at OT?

Great stuff, Zod, I appreciate you taking the time to do stuff like this. And my word, Kugbila is wiiiiiiide. I'd be happy with McGloin taking Clausen's spot, once Anderson came back Jimmy became expendable because he's not getting resigned.
