Yeah that would be ideal.  I’m still curious if anyone will make the switch to safety.  Would love to see Chinn in the box more

Well, let's see. Best case we have DJ, Jayce, CJ, SG, and maybe Bouye on the roster. Out of that group, for various reasons, only DJ is the one I would move. He has the speed, and his tackling has improved big time.

That said. Let's bring in an actual FS, and leave that CB room alone.

DJ would have to be willing to take on a lesser role, which usually means less money then he’d get elsewhere.  I personally think we will resign whichever of the 2 plays better this season.

I  get that. I just don't think that makes sense. DJ is younger, is playing as well as most CBs, and is a home grown product. If we are only keeping 1, I would prefer DJ.

Personally, I would keep both. Within reason of course.

And also you forget to mention -

-Avoid him to join TB or GB from or other NFC teams.

-We now have more leverage to negotiate the contract with DJ. We can afford him to leave If he wants more money.

Although I do agree that nabbing Gilmore was a we got him, and you didn't type win-win. I can't agree it gives us leverage with DJ. With more and more teams going 4, or even 5 wide. We need to keep him.

WE didn't know for fact henderson and Gilmore were available for trade to after the moves were made. This information is never plastered on a billboard for everybody to see, nobody here is in a front office  so i dont get the informative takes.

Are you saying that because we as fans, don't know what's going on. That we aren't allowed to speculate?

Because, precisely because we as fans have no information, all we have is speculation.

I'm asking, because your post is a tad...confusing.

He doesn't seek discussion he wants ppl to conform to his view of the team and if they don't he loses it. 66 years old going on 12.

And yet Dr. Phil, you can't seem to not talk about me. I hope the irony is not lost on you.

I invoke feelings in others, they themselves don't realize.

    At some point...

I've said many times though that my preference for starting a discussion is to ask a question and let people give their thoughts.

(as opposed to "Here's my opinion and you know I'm right so everybody deal with it!") 😕

Yeah, it's page 5. Plenty of reactions to talk about. Yet, here you are. Quite as a Church mouse. What happens if the thread dies. We never get the ol Scotty input we all wait for.

You can start a thread, give your opinion. Then let the debate start. It happens all the time. Well, for everybody but you.

You  have to know this is what you do. You start a thread, then disappear. I mean, you do you dude.

Yes but we are just getting started. The blueprint is out now dude. Hopefully Brown and maybe Christensen.

You keep saying we are an 8 win team. So you have to use anything you can distort, to make yourself feel better.

It's one thing for the "Blueprint" to be out there. It's quite another to be able to actually execute said blueprint.

I'm not gonna sugarcoat this. I could literally not possibly care any less about what you think. And that you think this thread might have had any possibility of being created to get any credit from you or thode of your ilk is hilarious. It's just football conversation. I'm not seeking any validation from any "camp" on this forum and if my posting history is proof of anything, it's that.

Don't get triggered. It was just an honest critique of your posting history.

I have my opinions and I'm not afraid to share them, but I'm always happy to be wrong if it works out to the benefit of the Panthers.

I am not going to sugar coat this. I have been on this here board for a long time. And this is the first time you have ever admitted to being wrong. And as you can tell by a lot of the responses, that is something I am not the only one aware of.

(Obviously you are as well. For you started your OP with "Now don't get triggered". So even you knew you had this reputation.)

It's all well and good that Sam has sorta "Changed your mind". But it rings hollow after months of you crapping all over him.

All most folks wanted was for the haters to give Sam time. Now, we are supposed to regale you because you have decided now is the time?

Well, here's a "Good Boy" for ya.

It isn’t the huddle criticizing him, smart guy. It was Rhule explicitly calling him out (by name, at that) during his press conference yesterday.

Nice edit. Did you get nervous over calling me an idiot? lol

You folks do realize Rhule said this before watching tape. Right?

Nah, that would take critical thinking. Something this place is short on.

I think it's fair to say that we don't know for sure that DJ would've scored if Terrace made the block. I also think it's fair to criticize Terrace for not making the block anyway.

Sure, Criticism is something the Huddle does well. Marshall has been doing a great job with his blocking. But hey, let's criticize him for missing this one.
