Agree with you about Sam and Robby. Those were both perfectly legit hits. Disagree about the TD catch. That call was garbage.
You have to complete the catch. Which means when you go to the ground, you must maintain possession.
He did not make a "Football" move after the catch.

It does not matter how clean the hit is. Clean or not, the rule states you are supposed to give the Receiver a chance to run and the defender did not. It should have been a penalty. Maybe you shouldn't be telling others to learn the rules?
lol This is the second time you've said this. It is not true.
And you sure have a hard time with folks that don't agree with you.

Am I the only one not up in arms over todays officiating?
And LOL at folks actually thinking refs are trying to skew games one way or another.

Should have been a penalty. Same with the hit on Robby Anderson. But now we're set with PJ Walker so what's done is done.
Neither one of those were penalties. Learn the rules.
Runners don't get protected, and Sam was a runner. And Robby got hit with shoulder pads well within the strike zone. Sheesh.
Same with DJs TD drop. Some of you expect the Panthers to get every dang call. And go all ham when we don't.

Matty Melt had his facemask grazed by Burns and they threw a flag but nothing for Falcons defenders leading with the helmet.
He was a runner, not a QB. Not the same thing.

I said to put Gilmore on Pitts, and game over. And some jackhole pooed me. Man, I love my job.

We need a big play. All these dink and dunk and short runs are not getting us anywhere
lol we are winning don'tcha know.

If you don't make a football move, you must control the ball to the ground. That was not a catch. How can so many fans not know the rules?

I never claimed highground. I don't care about typos and I didnt know he was injured.
I would eventually like to see a return on the 3rd round pick though.
We could have drafted a olineman with it
You have to see the irony of calling someone stupid. When you yourself can't get your own thoughts out correctly.
And we already have a 3rd round T that folks are unhappy with.

His depression is keeping him out. The kid should just quit football now. Go work a factory job like many Americans. I hate kids these days.
Serious question. If you hate everything Panthers so much. Why are you here? Because almost every post is wrought with anger.

Who knows what the future holds but so far we've invested big in two cast offs from the Jets and that uhh isn't going so well so the skepticism around a draft bust from the Jaguars is understandable at least.
Luvu is playing well. So it's not all negative on the Jets front.
Too early to tell with regards to CJ.

Jay glazer wakes up and feels like everyone hates him…he’s not wrong
Do you feel better now?

Yeah... he is a hell of an athlete, but there is obviously something wrong.
He probably ly it that bright and is struggling with the plahbook would be my guess.
No reason insult him. He is injured.
And with how badly this post looks. You don't really have the high ground you may think you do.

Darnold missed part of the early 2019 season and when he came back he threw only 1TD to 3 Ints and the Jets went 1-3. However, over the last eight games of that season, he threw 13 TD's to only 4 Ints and the Jets went 6-2. And this was against the Bills, Ravens and Pittsburg so they weren't exactly against weak teams. Don't be surprised if he bounces back here as well.
Well now, that' is good information. Let us hope history is willing to repeat itself.
My only advice to you? "Duck and Cover" Cuz this may not go over well.

I'm not sure if it was an overreaction or not. That was painful to read.
The first clue things could go south, was the thread title.

I like the optimism but I wouldn't bet on it.
There is a whole industry designed to take money from idiots who think they know what they are doing. Betting is for fools. Just give your money to charity. You'll feel better than losing your money on some lame bet. I tell ya what.

Watson does not want to come here unless Miami fails.
Also not sure a 5th loss in a row to arguably the worst teams in the NFL has an ‘overreaction’. Seems justified.
Dang, you have to spell it out for some of these folks. The OP claims that a loss today sets us back years. THAT was the overreaction. Sheesh.

The game thread is always miserable. Even in the best of times. The most positive of us are suffering. We need something good to happen but are afraid to hope out loud.
Fear is a heck of a thing. One can laugh in the face of it. Or crumble from the weight of it. This place seems to prefer the latter.
Football is a release. It is entertainment. Watch it for the artistry, the beauty. The excitement that can come at any moment. The "What did I just see" adrenaline rush. That is football.
Genuinely wondering about the fairness of the refs today.
