Brandt came out of this looking like a future GM, he is likeable, smart and a football nerd.
Side note the rams getting Tmac with Puka and Adams would have been insane. its no way, Tmac wouldn't have been great for them

I always wonder how these guys get hurt in the offseason, your back didn't hurt in January?

If Young doesn’t look top 10ish I think you move on. He’s a number 1 pick with no excuses. Has to be a franchise QB.
The problem with this is that no one wants to do this unless they have a better QB in the bag. its hard to get rid of someone mediocre

Yeah because 31 owners were probably about to laugh Sheila Ford Hamp out of the room.
real talk I think that was going to happen, I think the vote was going to be embarrassingly low in favor.

That was tacky especially considering you were playing in Charlotte and the city was being very gracious.
Just because something is true or can be said doesn’t mean it should be. People seem to have lost all sense of tact and decorum. It’s all about how I can go viral now.
Social media has really eroded basic respect.
Ironically, the Panthers would’ve never even acknowledged the PGA’s existence.

He's way overrated. $181 million guaranteed...
This is what concerns me with the Panthers. If the people remaining here who have the most at stake to end up being "right" about the pick - Morgan/Tepper) see "just enough" (
) improvement to convince themselves Bryce is a franchise QB going forward we seek to sign him to an early extension and just end up in QB purgatory.
Such is why I am hoping for a year of outright elite level QB play from our first overall pick. Slam the door shut and we can all feel relieved.
This is a league-wide issue with how quarterbacks are valued. Not everyone can be a top-five QB, but teams can still win with someone in the mid-tier. As long as your QB is better than average, he’s going to get paid like one of the best.
This isn’t just a Bryce Young problem; it’s a challenge for every team with a decent quarterback.

In the NFL draft, talent is often evenly spread outside of the top few picks.
For example, Tet McMillan could’ve gone at No. 8 or the mid first and Walker was projected as high as No. 4 but ended up going No. 15.
Since top-tier talent can still be available later, it’s almost always better to make the playoffs than to chase a slightly higher draft pick.

The thing I hate about strength of schedule is that NFL teams change so much over a year and past success or failure doesn't really dictate future success or failure

I am curious to see what we have in George, he has quite the up hill battle with a stacked room but this is why we compete.

This is going to be fun to watch, it couldn’t have happened to a better team

I remember this being discussed by several here in the pre-draft run up. Evero had no use for Chinn, so how did Walker truly make any sense?
this aint just an Evero problem either the NFL favors guys with an position. Walker need a vision and a plan and he wasnt going to get that here

Yes, if the position he played was "walking back" things wouldn't seem so bleak.
You joke, but it can always be worse. He might walk with a limp or need assistance. Different sport, but Lonzo Ball couldn't even walk up steps a year after his injury.

I saw Brooks maybe a few weeks ago, he was walking pretty normally. of course he wasnt running, jumping and cutting.

feels a bit out of touch, seems like something you would offer a corporate package but it aint my money.

First move of the off-season that I hate, unless this is what he wanted. he was our best’ish run defender and the young guys ain’t going to learn themselves.

I can't remember the last draft where I had a list of positions I felt we needed to address, and they handled it. I still have my questions about FS, but I loved their draft because every move made sense.

Is it weird to say "ESPN is showing us some love" and then link to a Yahoo article? I mean, I know they are referencing ESPN, but it threw me off at first.

I neve heard of the homewreaker law but it feels like BS, why would you sue a third party when your wife was a willing participant
-
Why didnt he just draft one? not that they had to start but paying Moehrig then drafting Random feels redundant

You're looking at it the wrong way, After Bryce's third season, he's eligible for an extension. They need to know what they've got before this season wraps up. That's why they had to beef up the offense
-
I would’ve taken that 49ers deal drafted Walter Nolan picked up another second and drafted Higgins or Noel

They spent 10 plus mins ripping Bryce using some stat they had to explain because they made it up. I could have just had a conversation here. I did enjoy listening to them rip the Falcons
