I was surprised they were worse than I thought & couldn't execute scripted plays. I was surprised at how weak the front 7 is this season. I realize why they hid the starters from us in preseason.

The only chance Canales has is to make Bryce a championship QB, or get lucky & have the Teppers give up on Bryce. Canales isn't even allowed to bring competition in for Bryce.

Roster building has been the problem for an entire decade. Shaq is the vet franchise leader now. I like Shaq as a hybrid playmaker, but building a defense around him to contend was never a good strategy. Seeing all the bad decisions from the past decade bottom out in the game was the worst part. This team has no foundation, no championship strategy and is just a farm team for the rest of the NFL. I feel for all the capable playoff caliber players & coaches with championship promise. This organization has no championship foundation, strategy, or culture set from the top.

N. Tepper is still learning how to build a roster with front office assistants reporting to her & a puppet coaching staff. D. Tepper gets involved when he's told to enter by the boss. Patience

Darnold & Mayfield are average NFL starters. Panthers gave up too much for both & had to move on because they are place holders. Tepper was sold on Young being a championship level QB. There were a group of us that knew better, but people are just going to chase the fantasy. Having a long term QB strategy would have been better than throwing draft picks at the wall & hoping something would stick.

If you had Pro Bowl value, you'd do whatever you could to distance yourself from this disaster. Business decision. Not even playing through a headache.

If 1st round QBs were that valuable to a roster, you'd see them dominating the playoffs. A majority of teams have 1st round QBs, and the QBs who move their teams through the playoffs to conference championship games are an even split. Since 1990. QBs who have proven they can win a SB are bold. Dynasty QBs are in italics. Panthers have had 4 of these QBs on their roster. Non-1st rounders have a higher success rate when considering starting opportunities heavily favor 1st round QBs. You'll also notice the majority of 1st round QBs taking the crown went to established playoff contenders. A majority of non-1st round QBs taking the crown went to bottom of the NFL rebuilds. Before anyone screams Day 3 QBs or undrafted QBs are hard to find, 12 of 64 were avaliable day 3 & 5 were not selected in the first 7 rounds. These are the only championship level QBs for 25 years. Goff, Jackson, Mahomes, Burrow, Stafford, Rodgers, Allen, Tannehill, Bortles, Ryan, Roethlisberger, Newton, P.Manning, Palmer, Luck, Flacco, E.Manning, Smith, Cutler, Sanchez, McNabb, Rivers, Grossman, Vick, McNair, Dilfer, Collins, Culpepper, Elway, Testaverde, Bledsoe, Harbaugh, Aikman, Kelly, Marino Purdy, Hurts, Brady, Garoppolo, Brees, Foles, Keenum, Wilson, Kaepernick, Favre, Warner, Hasselbeck, Delhomme, Plummer, Gannon, Johnson, Stewart, King, Brunell, Chandler, Cunningham, Young, O'Donnell, Humphries, Montana, Rypien, Kramer, Hostetler, Schroeder Do NOT draft a 1st round QB unless you are an established playoff contender.

1st round QBs are overrated & cost most teams when it comes to building a competitive roster

It's Evero. When has he ever had success over an entire season? That defense is horribly prepared with communication & fundamentals.

Maybe. I have serious doubts about Morgan using draft capital effectively. Seeing LBs & WR/TEs fail to develop under Morgan/Canales would be an immediate franchise reset decision.

Reich got fired because he benched Young & wanted a QB for his system

When Kyle Allen is a better option, you have to move on. There are QBs you can sign off the street and be more competitive next week.

We know Rivera, Reich & Canales can coach in the NFL enough to win division championships and get to the playoffs. They all went to the SB right? Obviously, not the best in the NFL. This garbage is the front office being bottom of the NFL & meddling owner couple no where near competent in building a roster or evaluating players.
