    Darnold had the ball where it needed to be for that check down to Robby. He is going through his progressions. That should have been complete if Robby was better at sitting down in a zone.

    That was on Freeman for not releasing. Freeman panics. Sam trusted Freeman.

    Freeman releases from his block, that would have been an incomplete pass. CMC would not have made that mistake.

    Freeman did not release and stayed in to block. Freeman had no clue. Sam expected Freeman to do his job. Sam cannot trust Freeman, Hubbard, and Tremble. This is the big problem.

    The Giants are putting this game on Freeman, Hubbard, and Tremble to win it or at least open up the offense

    So many defensive players playing hero and not where they need to be. Is it coaching, or the players?

    They are check downs. Not over the middle. If you go to the hospital as a check down receiver, you can't find the window or make people miss. Check downs should be where the QB is expecting them to be. If a QB hesitates on a check down route, it's not the QB.

    Darnold misses CMC, Arnold, and Zylstra. They were what was opening up the Brady offense for the big plays and running game.

    If Tremble, Hubbard, and Freeman cannot present a threat underneath on the check downs, then there will be nothing open deep while they sit on the run. That is the Brady offense. Use the check downs to open up the rest of the offense.
