  1. He was an athletic game manager in the UFL. Think Brad Johnson with more athleticism. He could play in the NFL, but don't expect him to carry a team without a good defense. Better than PJ Walker or Jack Plummer
  2. Panthers need to start building core defense on the front 7 and safety at some point if they want to win. Hendrickson won't improve the scheme, game plan, or personality of the defense.
  3. Very true. I think we all just want to see a positive trend upward, and when the Panthers look like a 5/6 win team, we will hear why they are that team. There have been some positive changes, but it has been too slow. The team is responsible for giving the fan base something to watch and at least be competitive. We all want to win and build a champion, but true fans will boo and put bags on their heads while still buying tickets and gear because they want to see a change for the positive. It's not the fan's responsibility to pull up the team and coddle their emotions. Our responsibility as a fan is to give our honest feedback and pressure the team to become a champion. If the players break because of the fans, then you likely don't have a champion caliber player. This board has stayed true to the fan. Rah rahs for their favorite players in bad times are always welcome, but not everyone will be a rah rah, and there will be fans that don't eternally hope for a player - especially on a consistently under performing team. I'm sure some will call this trolling too and I will get the poo. Oh well
  4. I still anticipate 6 wins and a fan base who's thinking they're better than they really are after 4 wins in the first half of the season with a weak starting schedule. There are 4 major changes standing in the way of the Panthers being competitive enough to take a wild card spot. Bryce, Evero, Ekwonu (can't pass pro at this level to win) and stop wasting prime draft capital on offensive players in the first round and retread 1st round QB trades when you clearly need defensive talent.
  5. Why would we want to have a developmental QB with potential on the depth chart? Bryce is fragile and Tepper committed this franchise to Bryce. IMO we should have had Bryce competing with other young QBs since day one. Warned about Bryce before the draft. Dalton & Plummer does nothing to hedge against a bust in Bryce.
  6. Improvement over Bryce and Dalton, and I agree he's not roster material
  7. The Panthers stats/graphics department underperforming too. DOUBLE TROUBLE 2019?
  8. Teams are going to run up that middle on Panthers D all season. Soft Offense needs to put up 30 plus a game
  9. PJ isn't the best, but Panthers would be further with him instead of sinking the franchise for Bryce
  10. I think that's why they iced Bryce. They hoped Dalton could get reps for the Tmac
  11. You don't see the down trend & lack of improvement? It's honest. 1 good offensive drive out of 5 for 1st team O if you count Dalton being put in for the 1s
  12. He showed everyone who he was in Denver. It was obvious. I want to see if receivers are getting open in the all 22
  13. Bryce better get it together or he's back on pace for another early season benching
  14. Bend and break while hope for a mistake Evero defense is in prime form. How does this win in the league?
  15. Excuses? No. The 1st team offense is trending in a bad way. That's their 3rd bad offensive drive in preseason & they've only had 4
  16. OL is getting chucked around in pass pro. BY only had 1 of 5 good plays & receivers are sleeping. With a scripted drive
  17. Bryce didn't look good on his first scripted drive in the preseason. He did have the one good pass, but 1 out of 3 good plays isn't a good drive for a QB
  18. Preseason & scripted drives are the big red flag. It's unacceptable for improvement
