  1. So, put your money where your mouth is. Your over/under ppg, rpg and apg for Kon. And then I'll bet each stat, and it's here for everyone to see. End of the season I'll message you payment info.
  2. Imagine the people who spent time on this, and what they could've been doing to help kids in that part of Miami / the country. I continued to (not) be shocked at how stupid humans are.
  3. Looking good in Summer league means nothing, it's what you're supposed to do as a top 5 pick. Looking bad in Summer league means a lot, especially as a top 5 pick. Kon came to life in the second half of tonight's game, we will see if he can sustain it. Even with his lightning in a bottle quarter he is 6 for 18 (33% FGs), 3 for 10 (30% 3FGs) and 6 for 10 (60% FTs). As it stands now, he has been incredibly underwhelming. Not just in his stats, but in his overall presence on the floor. That's my biggest concern watching him, he just looks out of place. Could care less if he shoots 10% if he's being aggressive and taking the game to people. He's not even close to doing that. There is a difference between having a bad night and looking like you don't belong on the floor. See Cooper Flagg's first game where he was statistically awful but looked athletically dominant and aggressive.
  4. Not going to say bust, but Kon looks like he doesn't belong in this league. Through 45 minutes of action, he's 2 for 11 from field, 1 for 7 from three and 4 for 8 from free throw line. And his one make from three was a lucky, hail Mary, terrible, contested shot that no coach would ever want you to take. You're the #4 overall pick, for ONLY your shooting ability and you're 4 for fuging 8 from the free throw line. He spends 90% of his time standing in a corner doing absolutely nothing. This is going to be Adam Morrison all over again.
  5. I’m old. Been using this forum for 20+ years. Have no clue what a Reddit is. Sounds too close to JJ for my liking.
  6. Yes. What part of my “sit him until October” (when preseason occurs) didn’t you comprehend?
  7. My issue is if he’s injured enough to miss GAME 2 of summer league, then why did he play game 1? He needs the reps, he was absolutely horrible in game 1. He looked like he didn’t even belong in the NBA. So either sit him until October and let him get healthy, or throw him out there every chance possible to let him develop vs the speed and size of this league. There’s no such thing as half pregnant.
  8. Maybe part of the Hornets summer league training is making sure a guy has enough outfits to sit out 50-70% of a season.
  9. Then why was he playing last night? Literally no decision this franchise makes has any logic or strategy to it.
  10. I was just happy to see Melo, Bridges and Sexton in mid season form … In street clothes, cheering on our G League players, in a meaningless game.
  11. You know it's a slow time in sports when this is the Friday night ESPN programming.
  12. It's how long that statement remains true that is the problem every year. Last year it was 15 games. The year before 20 games. The year before that, they didn't make it to Halloween.
  13. It will make more sense at the trade deadline when the team has less than 15 wins and is gutted of anyone worth having on an NBA roster. I hope I'm massively wrong.
