  1. With Cam, I felt like if you made to the redzone you was probably getting a score, especially that 2015 season. What could have been with an NFL offensive line and better coach. Do not forget Cam, or what he gave us, but it is time to move into, apparently, the Bryce Young era, let's go.
  2. I mean like others pointed out they know what sells and know the current market. They crunch the numbers on what to list the property for. The time of showing the houses and the scheduling. Then of course the negotiation with the buyers agent which can get involved. Dealing with inspection and who is paying for what, etc. You're also paying for expertise and someone that "should" know the legal side of what to do and not to do. Add in being "on call" for what seems like 24/7 for questions and whatnot. These are basically contractors so they have to pay their own taxes and often have to pay a good bit for their own insurance. I'm not a realtor but have family that is and I've spent time with them where their clients (listing or buying) just nonstop call and have questions, freaking out, etc. I think the money is earned.
  3. So this album never hits the highs of Spit out the Bone but the lows aren't as low as the lows on Hardwired (Murder One I'm looking at you). I've enjoyed the previous two albums, Death Magnetic was good but did feel like a bunch of ideas stitched together. Hardwired as an improvement on that and had some real bangers (Spit out the Bone, Atlas, Moth, Dream No more). I just feel this album is the best "overall" album since the black album. It just flows nice and feels like a real thought-out collection of songs. These guys are pushing 60 and I feel this is a natural sound of a band at their stage and to still be relevant is a big accomplishment. James is the MVP of the album though, the vocals are his best work in a long time. I heard them on Kimmel do Master and he sounded good live as well.
  4. So far, this album is pretty great. The singles may be the weakest tracks and I enjoyed them so there is that.
  5. But if he and Burns take turns disappearing that could work out?
  6. It feels like we've went from being a minor league team to an actual major league team this offseason.
  7. Yeah this really sucks. I've enjoyed his acting since Oz and then The Wire was just amazing. Loved Fringe and the Wick series. Also, Bosch on Amazon. He had a range of acting abilities, could do it all. I always wanted to watch something he was in. That recent Resident Evil on Netflix was TERRIBLE but Lance was the only good thing in it and he was great. RIP.
  8. That seems cheap. I just hope we aren't sitting on a ton of short yardage situations next season that can't get converted.
  9. The franchise has never had back to back winning seasons so I would hope building some kind of sustained success is the top priority.
  10. This is good. Someone that knows he's the backup to a rookie to mentor and help him. We don't need QB controversy while the rookie gets experience.
  11. Yeah unless we get a really good pick (we won't) I don't see the point of this. Just a bad pick from a bad coaching staff that we are stuck with. We'd be better off letting him compete and learn and be a backup potentially.
  12. Yeah Weiland was pretty unique in his vocal ability and the band musically has always been really really good. I can't believe we lost so many from that era, unique voices.
  13. This is an interesting point, from a legal standpoint at least. He was obviously speeding but he was behind that car and they caused the crash. Legally I'm not sure he had to STAY but could be wrong. Now, morally and character wise, it's majorly messed up to leave people behind like that that were in an accident.
  14. I mean a lot of grunge copied Neil Yong's 80's stuff too, it's all good. Pearl Jam's Ten was such an amazing record that they didn't feel they could fit Yellow Ledbetter on it which is like a B side from that album and now a staple at concerts (and a lot of people's favorites). They are still making good records. Pearl Jam smartly has evolved over the years. They couldn't make albums like Ten or Vs forever, as they got older they changed and their fans and they didn't try to recreate the early albums at all. Not many bands would do that. Some of their later career stuff has some of my favorites, especially Avacado album for instance. I love that era of music though, easily my favorite. Nirvana may be one my least favorites honestly. I personally don't like them as much as PJ, AIC, STP, Soundgarden, Blind Melon, etc. PJ's Ten, STP's Purple, Soundgarden's Superunknown are some of the best front to back rock albums ever. And AIC's Unplugged album is one of the best live albums, easily. I also think Nirvana's unplugged is great too.
  15. There is a lot of good metal it's just not on the radio or anything you have to find it. All genres. Personally I've been really digging the doom metal resurgence with Pallbearer, Khemmis, Sleep coming back with an album a couple years ago etc. Elder is good too but it's more pysch in these latest albums but still good. Also the new wave of traditional metal like Spirit Adrift and some stuff. Basically all genres have something going on. I was really sad about Power Trip and what happened there, if you haven't listen to Power Trip's last album it was one of my favorite in recent years if you like the chug.
  16. It really does seem like Grohl is actually as awesome as all the headlines. There are too many stories to not believe it. I hope we never find out the contrary (minus regular being a human type things). Foo Fighters have been one of my favorite bands since the 90's (though the last few albums are only OK). We must protect him at all costs.
  17. We'd still be pretty high if you took the last 20 years. That's how it has been it feels like.
  18. I think it's just dumb to put Carr in the same group as Teddy, Darnold, and Baker. He's not top 5 but he's not close to those guys either. Look at Carr's fourth quarter comebacks. Look at all the coaching staff changes he's had over the years. People were saying the same thing about Stafford before he had his success. Nothing stops us from drafting a QB if there is one we like, AND getting Carr.
  19. Me too. The fanbase needs some excitement honestly. New coaching staff is a good start, but bringing in Carr at a fair price will give a nice jolt. He's not a top 5 QB but people comparing him to Darnold or Baker are just crazy.
  20. I wouldn't mind Carr, at a fair contract, I don't expect cheap, but fair. Then draft a QB at #9 if there is one we like and if not get best player at that spot.
  21. I mean, Carr hasn't been a top 5 QB but I think it's pretty unfair to compare the guy to Darnold or Baker etc. He was doing pretty well with the Raiders considering what he had to work with for years. He's older but we are in a league where QBs are playing in their late 30's. He's also been pretty healthy as well. Not to mention he's one of the best 4th quarter comeback QBs in the history of the league.
  22. Carr has 28 fourth quarter comebacks. We sure could use some of that around here.
  23. I thought this was one of the best episodes of a show I've seen in a long time. It felt like a mini movie. I think it was important not only for the already mentioned reasons but it fleshes out the world a bit more. It shows a little bit of hope in a world where there really isn't. It's just possible the game doesn't have enough content for what they are going for and they needed to come up with some good stories to tie in. I think Offerman is such a fantastic actor, in almost anything I have watched him in. Comedy, drama, etc. This performance should open up even more roles for him. The show IS called "The last of US" so it isn't crazy to see some stories like this etc.
  24. When the two organizations are literally entertainment companies it's an OK comparison. But you are comparing a state of mind which is just dumb between the two.
