  1. This is offense v defense... Why would we be upset about that? There is roughly zero bonding or gelling that needs to take place between the two units; these guys will never be on the field at the same time. If anything, it shows that they are taking practice seriously. As long as we leave the haymakers at camp, *ahem Frank*, then I am fine with it.

  2. Favors was the guy that injured McNabb in the 2003 championship game. Nobody is really sure who caused the Simms injury... he had a big hit from Al Wallace, but it might well have happened before that. Was still a nasty hit though. Al Wallace was probably the best reserve end we've had. Good twitter follow, too.

There was that big hit and then another where he was tag-teamed by Jenkins and TD. That poo just aint no good, boy.

  3. I'd think that Todman would get a look as a back up punt returner. I know he does kick-off but if Ginn goes down for some reason, I'd rather have someone back there that can catch a kicked ball. God bless Bersin for trying but we can't have a guy out there that fields punts from a knee like he's an outfielder playing it safe.

  4. I remember it looking fairly pedestrian, he took a few hits, I think it was Al Wallace. CJ wasn't on the team yet.

Good Call. I forgot about Wallace. It was TD and Jenkins that double-teamed him for another big hit.

  5. So was the judge in Hardy's first trial speculating, too?  I agree they're trying to make a stand, and should.  If they're trying to appease anyone, it's the sponsors and fans who are the base of their business.  IMO, not a bad thing to appease those 2 groups.....

    Yes.

  6. I agree with most of you that Hardy more than likely assaulted Holder in some manner. I understand that there are pics but those pics are not proof that Hardy attacked Holder, they are proof that Holder had injuries. Hardy's link to those injuries is speculation. I think the NFL punishing on speculation is what doesn't quite sit right.

The NFL is trying to make a stand which is commendable - even though its just to appease the media- but they are going to start looking silly when they are losing appeals and suits. And, if they start losing suits ($), I think we'll see their practices/stance change again.

  7. If this suspension holds, I might just have to watch on mute. The entire game is going to be how righteous the NFL and GODell are for striking down the man that makes Hitler look like Mother Theresa. No way any network or broadcaster will have balls to voice any opinion that might even suggest that 10 games was too harsh.

Maybe I'll listen to Eugene make up words and botch names.
