Jmo I think you can do both.. You can pick 2 Olinemen in this draft and sign a vet and have a real competition in TC.. I think we need Starters and quality depth.. Just my opinion..

I think we're past the either or situation.. For the Oline it's time for a this and that attitude for fixing it.

You can do both.. Actually doing both might be the best option any way .. We don't just need 1 Oline position.. Attack the problem in the draft and FA.

And Ppl need to get past this Sam isn't going to be here thing. If Rhule is here Sam is going to and needs to be here.. If you hire a new Coach Sam will probably still be here.. Them picking up that 5th year option made that a fact.. No matter what you hope for.. Sam is going into TC as the presumptive starter the only question is who's the coach and who's his competition.. But if Rhule is here he has already brought Sam back and has already talk himself in Starting Sam next season.. Which is the best situation for us long term if Rhule gets another season.. Either he fixes his mess with the QB he wanted or hes fired next season and the next coach isn't handicapped with Rhule QB decision..

So this opinion is based on "hey this might not be the year to find a franchise QB" .. "But every year there is atleast one"?? How is this a strong draft strategy?? Example.. You have six pots in front of you 5 have poison snakes in them.. Now you don't have to play the game at all.. You can go buy another pot entirely that fits another need.. What would you rather do?? Play the game find the pot with no snakes or just go get another pot that fits just as important need??

Kyler Murray... Was a 1 year starter Pickett is a 4 year starter.. Opportunity equal production difference. Kyler is younger and way more talented then Pickett is now.. Plus the big difference.. Kyler fell into the perfect situation.. His college coach had the 1st pick in the draft.. Add context before Googling names..

He has to.. If I'm Tepper.. You can't afford to pay another 20 million to play somewhere else while letting this coach make another QB position.. If he keeps his job he has to make it work with Sam or Cam.. But it is completely stupid to let him use another Assets on another QB decision..

The question was I guess highly rated QB who rated higher then other position but weren't number 1 overall picks.. But if you want to talk about.. All these guys were better prospect then Pickett.. All are rated higher as prospect then Pickett.. All had better College production then Pickett all are safer prospects then Pickett.. Pickett at this point is the tallest midget.. He might be the best prospect in a bad QB draft.. And that isn't even Consensus.. That should be a scary pick..

Wrong ... Tervour lawrance, Andrew Luck, Peyton manning and many others were thought as can't miss prospect.. Better then other prospects at other position.. Yes it happens...

1. Cam .. Was productive at Blinn.. And a national championship.. 2. Josh Allen .. Younger way more physical talent and 2 years of production.. I'm doing the same thing.. And most scout has this as a down QB draft.. Most scouts say the same thing about all the QB in this draft.. "I wouldn't draft him high but "desperate QB teams will probably pick him" .. This statement is a red flag . Read between the lines.. Look at the prospect and compare him to others.. Compare the class.. He isn't a good prospect unless you're desperate..

Good point.. Every position has bust picks. But the question is .. What is the best way to avoid making a bust pick?? Pick the lesser prospect with less production in college and less talent at his position.. Or Pick the higher rated prospect (by all scouts) with years of college production and a day 1 starter .

Here come the excuses.. If you have to talk yourself into a prospect and come up with reason why he isn't a "no questions" 1st round talent.. Why make him a top 5- 15 pick?? Clausen, had great mechanics.. Let that sit on your soul when using that as a point..
