Draftscouts has him running a 4'45 and a 4'50 and another guy in this thread said Hartline was a 4'58..

Kenny Britt a 4'4 guy who is 6'5 and cost the same amount. . Cecil Short who is a 4'4 guy who runs great routes and had pro bowl season with bad QB's.. Who will also cost about the same money as Hartline. .

Wtf does that mean.. " He was a track guy in college" so was Crotchety... Was he a deep threat this year for us?? He was a high 4'5 guy coming put of college (which again is slow for a WR) . He probably isn't even that fast anymore.. He is a jag..I'm sorry if it hurts the Hartline family to know their family member is no better than a 4th wr on a good team. . Which we are trying to be..

4.58 40' for a WR is slow.. and that was 4-5 years ago when he was drafted. . With age he is probably a 4.6 guy. . If he is in competition for our #2 WR spot than we failed in bringing in better talent. .

If he comes in for the vet minimum and we get rid of the other slow possession type WR which Hartline is.. Than I'm ok with signing him.. You can't have too many slow WR who don't play special teams on the roster. .

And again in my opinion he is a younger Cotchety.. Which is a younger version of a dollar store WR.. And let's not forget you want him as our #2 WR option.. So you can talk about making other moves as well but in your opinion we won't get a better WR than him.. Which again would suck...especially with another good draft and FA period for WR.. If Hartline is the best we can get than we Failed. .

He doesn't have elite speed or size he doesn't offer special team abilities... He doesn't have many season of being a number 1 option wr.. All he is... Is a younger slightly better version of Cotchety or a jag player.. If we are cutting Cotchety and Bersin and only paying him league minimum and he is a 4th wr option than cool.. If he is brought in as a number 2 wr and we still have Cotch and Bersin .. Than we failed in the getting Cam weapons and speed theme of this off-season. .

That would absolutely suck.. I'm sorry when Gettlemen said give Cam weapons Hartline as a number 2 is a slap in Cam's face.

And I think he would be slightly better than Crotchety and Bersin.. and for the same price you can get a Jag like Hartline.. you can get actual talent like Britt, Short, and others who actually give us the speed we need..

He's a jag.. that why.. he offers nothing like elite speed great size, or KR/PR abilities that would be worth signing. . He is a slight upgrade over Bersin or Crotchety. . I want more than a slight upgrade. . If he will take A vet minimum deal than maybe. . But anything over 1.5million is wasted money and time..

That's my opinion. . If you can signed Dockett you can Keep Hardy .. They have the same off the field headache qualities. M

I agree.. For the same price you can get Britt, Short or other better WR with more talent and speed... We have enough Jags at the WR position already..
