What film are you watching that's different from everybody else?

This kid has been the #1 QB since he came out of high school. Something is not adding up if the film doesn't have you sold im not sure if you ever will be sold.

I’m asking the same question a lot lately..

Miles got a fairly inexpensive deal with us. And it could be a bargain if we got Double Trouble type production back there again...

Agree to disagree.. Miles got a solid contract for RBs today not name CMC.. And we can get a double trouble situation with a later round RB.. We don’t need to put that many assets in that position.. Especially with 2 solid options already on the roster..

As a passer I only see 28 TDs and 15 INTs with 56% completions against some pretty bad competition in 2016 and then he regressed even worse his final year...  I know he probably wasn't working with much either.

Personally I'd prefer the one with fewer games that showed some raw potential than the one with more who regressed and still looks raw.  I get there is more too look at, but what you are looking at isn't very polished yet.

-This is probably better served on another thread though.  AR isn't our furture QB, Bryce Young is and I'm excited to see how he can elevate our offense!

Agree to disagree.. I want more tape (good or bad) more situation played in more experience if I’m taking a raw prospect.. And what nobody wants to talk about is why such a Uber talent took 3 years to get on the field..

Allen looked pretty damn raw as a passer. More film while still looking equally raw is probably a bad thing IMO.

He had a bad last year but his 2nd season is what ppl were looking at..

3,800 total yards and 35Tds with 15ints was a strong season.. Richardson doesn’t have that plus 27 games of playing time compared to 13 is big difference in experience..

Alright so now it is verified that this is Sheena. This is cool.

    Yes it is..

    Public Service Announcement

    1. Please be cordial, respectful and appreciate this.. Some of us have been here a long time and never had a credential member of the media gives us the time of day like @Vergeand @SheenaQ have and are doing now…

    2. Keep the creepy poo to yourself.. We all know reality and yes Damm!!!!! But keep it to yourself and talk football..

    3. Let’s not overdose on this.. The time she gives us to asked questions about the team is more then we ever had before.. So we don’t have to get everything out at 1 time.. Hopefully if we follow the 1st 2 things she will come here often and share her opinions with us.. Or until she blows up and gets a gig on ESPN..  Which she will..

    Thank you My Huddle ppl..

    Mods should Pin this..

If they are in fact taking a committee approach as they stressed in pressers, I'm just unsure if you want to hand Hubbard ~15-20%-ish of offensive snaps when you can get a clear upgrade.

Hubbard is currently slotted into a spot that will have gameday action.  I'd seek an upgrade if one presents itself via BPA.

You can get a RB to split or compete with Hubbard after the 3rd round.. If you take a RB  in the top 3 rounds he is competing to be the lead back.. And with Miles Contract they aren’t bringing in competition for him.. I just don’t see them spending a high asset pick on a RB when there biggest signing was a RB..

No way you use a 2nd round pick to upgrade a backup..

If Gibbs is there at 39, you run to that damn podium.

I think we have more of an impact slot to fill at RB over TE & WR when you consider who may actually get productive regular season snaps.  Brown comes from committee environments and Reich had that in Philly.  Just got lucky with Taylor but they're all committee type approaches.

I can’t agree.. If we had signed Forman back then yes.. But signing Miles to that deal made it clear they aren’t taking a RB that high..

Honestly, if we do take Bryce Young, I can see us taking a page from the Jaguars book and picking up the very talented running back that was in the backfield with Young, much like the safety blanket pick of Travis Etienne was for Trevor Lawrence -- one that paid dividends once coaching was improved.

Jahmyr Gibbs out of Alabama is a fantastic running back and was a reliable protector, receiver and rusher alongside Bryce. Considering the way the draft seems to be falling out and the lack of interest in running backs, Gibbs could certainly be sitting there at 39 and I think would be a good return on the investment.

Anything that makes the transition easier for Young will help everyone out.

I might have agreed if Miles Sanders didn’t get the deal he did.. RB is a later round need.. If we get a familiar target for Young it probably be Latu..

My opinion? Forget going after WR in this draft--JSN might be a second rounder in other years.  I think we are not going to do much more at WR.

The draft is deep at Edge, CB, and TE.  We have needs at those positions.  I think we might grab an Edge and CB---maybe or maybe not a TE--and we will grab an OL.

This ^^ I might grab a Wr later in the draft with KR and PR abilities but this draft isn’t a trade up for WR draft and we did a lot at that position in the offseason..

Yeah can't fill every hole but wanted to throw the Latu idea out there.  Think 2 DBs could be important, especially for Evero's defense.  It's hard to fill every hole.

I just don't trust Taylor & Henderson coming in with Jackson & Horn's injury history.  I know we picked up Rowe who can play NB, but he hasn't been that special.  Feel like we need speed and an added punch.  I also just love Ward and wanted to give him a shout.

Oh & the trade I mocked was 39 & 93 for 48, 81, & 151.  I think it maintains prospect value w/that 2nd rounder but moves us up 8 in the 3rd and nets an additional pick.  No problem staying put, I'd probably lean Brents even at 39.  Just think he's got it.

The simulators might be wrong but I’ve been able consistently to trade down 10 or 9 spots in the 2nd not do a pick switch in the 3rd and still get a extra 5th.. So I usually end up with

a 2nd round pick in the late 40’ early 50’

    2 3rd rounders and 2 5ths..

Again the simulators could be off..
