Assuming Porto will demand too much for Jackson what other options are there? I've heard Lacazette's name mentioned. Here's an idea: what about Firmino? I know he's labeled a midfielder, but I think he could operate as a striker. Maybe second striker to Daniel or something. Firmino is extremely mobile and moves around everywhere, he knows how to score and create goals. Just an idea. I still want Carvalho at DM. Maybe move Gerrard up in a more advanced role.

and? we could use another winger. lallana is not a winger he's a midfielder. if we sign shaqiri we can put him and sterling on the wings and put sturridge (or someone else cause he's always hurt) up top and run a 4-3-3 like we did some last year. time in the midfield would get really competitive then with only 3 spots. i have no idea why lallana isn't getting more time than he is right now

Lallana not getting any minutes is just stupid. We're desperately lacking creativity on the attack from the midfield and that is exactly what Lallana brings. BR spends 25 million on him this summer and now doesn't want to play him. I don't get it. Gerrard just doesn't belong in the starting lineup anymore, he's still dangerous on free kicks but that's all he's really providing at this point. Have we scored from a corner yet this year? How many chances have we even gotten off corners this year? Last year we were lethal on them, this year half the time the ball is too short or too long. I think BR is a quality manager but he just looks lost right now and new blood is needed. There is talent on this team BR is just too stubborn to make any changes. It's like he drew up how he thought this team was gonna work and he's gonna stick with it even though the team is playing like poo.
