Thanks J I !

Mayo - is he just a camp body and or practice squad guy or ?
thanks !
-
I am really interested in how Mayo does.

I know we need him at guard , but could he be transitioned to tackle if another starting guard became available ? Would he have what it takes ? Just thinking that it might be easier to find a quality guard than tackle and this guy looks determined enough to do what ever it takes to play. I mean he would be better at tackle than Amini I would guess.

Big Frank is on a mission. Not too concerned with Oher at this point but I wish he was meaner.
-
Yeah baby ! Lots to get excited about.
Thanks Jeremy !

please let that be artistic license my god
Once Rivera starts him at tackle and he fails it will take at least 8 games for him to admit failure
-
did anyone else see this in the sited article ? Amini at tackle anyone?
Carolina appears content to let Mike Remmers and rookie Daryl Williamsbattle for the right tackle spot.
Guard Amini Silatolu also could figure into the mix behind Oher.

who do you pick if you have to choose between Star and KK to pay?
it's a tough question.
From a strictly divisional point of view I would say to keep KK and let Star walk if we cant afford them both.

He has chunky thighs.

I have no idea what this thread is about

I just hope Rivera doesnt Rivera to start the first half of the season this season.

First time for me to watch Wards highlight video - he absolutely dominates his opponents - I hope we can keep him around to see how he does in the NFL.

Wow -
that should shut the JR haters up for a few minutes.

I am hoping we keep 6 linebackers. Id sure hate for something to happen to Luke and have to rely on a rookie to fill his shoes.
If we did get rid of Klein could we get anything for him ? A third or 4th round pick ?

Will this work with my FitBit ?

I actually have more confidence that Bersin will catch the ball and hold on to it than I used to have with LaFail.

Tough call. Isn't there a trick where we can place someone on IR to protect them from getting plucked and reactive them 6 games in or something? That could buy us some time and insure against an actual injury...maybe.
I think youre only allowed 1 player to do this with and it would be a big risk to do it with a guy not actually hurt like tolbert was last season.
-
They also need an over the middle possession guy.
Brown/Ginn are the speed additions that were missing during the early part of the season last year. The Panthers don't need every guy to be small and speedy, just a couple.
Bersin is a big dude with as good of hands as anyone on the team at next to zero cost. Plus, Cam loves throwing to him. Why would you want to cut a guy like that?
Plus the hair. dont dis the hair.

Yes. He's more of an offensive weapon like William Floyd was, especially in the red zone and on 3rd downs. It's no coincidence the Panthers were 1-7-1 in regular season games that he was injured in or on temporary IR for. With him healthy in the line-up, they went 6-1 and Shula was able to be less vanilla.
Still room for Ward on the team. We could also use a blocking fullback like Howard Griffith was for us. Brockel doesn't seem better than either Tolbert or Ward at what they do best, so the writing's on the wall for him.
tolbert played 3 games before he got hurt - we won two of those and lost one of them. We beat Detroit and Tampa Bay ( wow ) He did not appear in a game again till we played Arizona which we won. The next game was against the Seahawks which of course we lost.
Your story that he makes such a difference doesnt seem to have much basis.

Do we really need Tolbert ? If we cut him how much cap room would we save ?
I just checked - about 2,5 million - if I read it right.

He is not only very small bodied but like 7 th in receiving yards for the USC this year - really his speed is the one thing that gets him any notice - oh yeah - hes a smart kid too - 3.47 gpa supposedly
