For the twitter people on here, if you followed free agency I’m sure you stumbled across “pretyrickey”. He claimed he had sources and leaked quite a few signings and trades…he also missed a couple. Anyway, he’s now reporting Dionte will be a chief. So there’s that.

Person mentioned the market being set with the Adams/Jets trade, mentioned if we wanted to move Johnson, that was something to model. I’ve said in the past, if we approach him for an extension and he declines, trade him.

No, and I wouldn’t stick with Dalton either. Sign someone else, take BPA in the draft, build this team up and then take a qb the next year. Now, maybe in later rounds if a qb is BPA on the panthers board, that would be ok.

We have guys like Johnson and Hubbard who are playing for new contracts (with us or someone else), coaches that are coaching for their jobs (both sides of the ball), heck Horn even said after the game the defense let the O down especially since they are moving the ball unlike last season (yikes). Point I’m making is, these guys want to win and play well, Dalton gives the team the best chance for that happen, players on offense perform better with Dalton. Yeah, we won’t win poo with Andy and yes, Andy isn’t the future, but it’s better for the team he plays. Canales was going to lose the locker room if he kept playing Bryce, heck he could have lost his job. Playing bryce does nothing but ruin the locker room and possibly get guys fired or even ruin their chances at better contracts.

Par the course for us, turning down trades when they should be dealing. I’m with you on Bryc, I just have a bad feeling he will do just “enough” to stick around. For some reason ppl love him. I mean love him as a player, he seems like a great dude, but as a player he’s terrible.

Completely agree with you, unfortunately I have a bad feeling we will go back to him and he will complete some pass and the front office will think he can still play, and we will repeat this all the way into the end of his contract. I think they put him back in, which is a horrendous decision, he needs to be traded asap so we can avoid all this bs. He is so bad.

Dalton had that brutal pick sure, but Bryce wouldn’t have done nearly as well. We’d have three points at best. We can’t go back to Bryce.
