  1. https://x.com/rapsheet/status/1837801791309635692?s=46&t=sZBAMdzLph5zbmPd88saXg same thing from Ian, nice use of the word timeout too.
  2. Adam just now posted panthers want to keep Bryce as a backup for now and could go back to him later in the season. To me, that would be a disaster.
  3. You make great points brining up Brees and Steve young, if I remember correctly didn’t Elway get benched early his career too? I just think this case is different. You mention his flashes in week one of last year, he did have some solid throws that game, but didn’t he throw the same pick twice to the same player in what looked like the same play? Both over the middle on a post I believe. He did pretty much the same thing against NO this year on his first pass attempt. Follow that up with another pick against LA in week 2, guess where the INT was…over the middle. Same problem from week one of last year carried over to this year, but now it’s worse. He can’t throw over the middle because he can’t see over the middle. If you can’t throw without jumping in the air for routine throws over the middle, you can’t start in the NFL. He’s shown no sign of improvement, and yes, he has made some splash throws, but most nfl qbs will do that every once in a while, but that means nothing when the rest of the throws are trash. Could Bryce turn it around like those other players, absolutely. I just think the odds are lower for him, I hope he proves me wrong.
  4. I love it, I hope you win. Honestly, that makes this game more fun to watch now, so you thank you for that.
  5. It’s wild, rarely does anyone say he’s been awful. Even if they do, it’s always “he’s been bad BUT…” Like many have said, if he was as good as what everyone said when he got drafted, he would look better than what he has shown. He doesn’t have to be all world, but my goodness, I’ve never seen something so bad.
  6. Interesting, I wonder if the source was Bryce’s agent
  7. I’ve read two different reports today, one from David Newton and one from Jonathan Jones, both saying we aren’t done with Bryce. I don’t know what to believe anymore, I just know we shouldn’t go back to him. If we do, I hope he proves me wrong (I said this bs last year and this year as well)
  8. I can’t figure it out either, I thought someone said after you paste the link, don’t immediately hit send, let it load, but that didn’t work for me either.
  9. I can’t edit this, I’m a moron and someone already posted this, my bad.
  10. https://x.com/clt_sportsfan/status/1836890489749975442?s=46&t=sZBAMdzLph5zbmPd88saXg I still can’t get these damn things to embed. Anyway, it’s a link to a writer saying benching Bryce was to stop the bleeding and let him heal, meaning this isn’t the end for Bryce. I think that’s a mistake but that’s where I’m at with this team, everything is a mistake.
  11. Twitter is saying he’s playing bad because his girl left him for an NBA player. Wild excuse.
  12. That’s why we don’t take one in the first this upcoming draft. Build this team up, get a super star at wr or something of magnitude, so that in 2026 we take one and they won’t want to pass on playing here. Will hat happen, probably not lol.
  13. That’s why Kiper was so fired up, he talked up Young all the way until we picked him, he’d look silly if he were this wrong. Kinda like he was with Clausen…
  14. Ppl have been but she’s not saying, at least not that I have seen.
  15. She said it wasn’t Steph. She called them a scorer, so to me that takes MJ out (thank God) bc he’s the best player ever not just strictly a scorer. I saw a comment say Allen Iverson possibly lives in Charlotte, to me, that is one of the greatest scorers, so that’s my guess. why she brings this up, I have no clue.
  16. Would it be beneficial to play him at another time or just move on entirely?
  17. J Fowler says he doesn’t get the sense he will get traded. Even went as far to say it’s a confidence thing and they hope he can get it back. Talked about how promising he looks in practice (of course he looks great he knows he’s not getting hit at all) and his ability to pick up on X’s and O’s and all that. Sounds like many are still hanging on to that Hall of Fame drive against the bills third string in pre season. If we have to bench him, he’s not the guy. Move on.
  18. To me, when he didn’t do fug all at the combine, huge red flag. It was all down hill from there.
  19. https://x.com/arifhasannfl/status/1835790754075259330?s=46&t=sZBAMdzLph5zbmPd88saXg Oof
  20. That’s a popular opinion on social media as well, especially in regards to other teams fans. I’ve said before, they clearly haven’t watched the 18 games Bryce has played. This isn’t just this season, he showed nothing last year. It’s interesting hearing Mike Greenberg and espn say he was in a disaster of a situation, when last year before the season his network said Bryce was going into the best situation. This offseason the team spent a lot of resources on offense and the line has played well, the WRs are getting open…Bryce was just awful. If this offensive coach is already benching him, he probably can’t be saved and Canales more than likely knows that. Sometimes good college players suck in the pros, it happens.
  21. It’s interesting reading other fans of teams opinions on this move. Most say he was wronged and should keep playing. Those same people, clearly haven’t watched the 18 games he’s played. You cannot be a head coach in this league and allow that play to continue. This was the right move.
