  1. Chi and WFT both very clearly knew who they were taking and that they weren’t trading before the clocks even started, yet they both took the whole damn clock and then we gotta wait for Goodells slow ass to mosey on out from the back. This is gonna take forever. The crappy part is I want to watch until the end in case the Panthers trade into the back of the first round.

  2. If they’re going to ask the team picking #1 to milk the whole clock just start the draft at 830 and do a pre draft show at 8. This thing is long enough it’s dumb as hell waiting an extra 20 minutes for the first pick.

  3. My lock of the draft, besides some of the more obvious, is Graham Barton to the Cowboys. I think they look to replicate the Zack Martin pick.

My bold prediction is McDonkey going ahead of Brian Thomas Jr. as the 4th WR selected. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Buffalo trade up for him.

  4. Just FYI, that USA Today quiz is from 2021 and is no longer accurate. For example, question 3 “Which of these schools has not had a #1 overall pick since 2000?” The “correct” answer is Alabama, and I think we all know that is not true anymore.

  5. Imagine being born today and this is the first time you’ve heard a player say “x team said if I’m there at pick y they’re taking me” only for it not to happen on draft day. It’s almost like it makes no sense for a team to definitively say that without knowing how the board will fall, or like these players might have agents who tell them to leak things like this to increase the public perception that he’s a first round talent.

    Ehhhh.

Tepper was more than happy to bask in the fluff from Panthers media when he hired Rhule and there was weeks of talk about our "rockstar" staff last year. I don't recall anyone in the fanbase or the media thinking we had just hired the worst staff in the entire league.

Tepper remains the common thread however. All we can do is hope despite his constant ineptitude as an owner that maybe he's finally just backed into dumb luck with Morgan and Canales.

I’m not sure how that’s relevant unless you are suggesting he was critiquing the play calling before they started calling plays. Obviously he liked the coaching staff before the season began or that wouldn’t have been the coaching staff. Everything went to poo pretty fast and deserved to be critiqued from game 1 on. Whether Tepper is competent as an owner is a completely separate matter. Has the playcalling been poo and deserving of being critiqued? 100% yes it has.
