Ehhh idk. People are going to people. We will ignore guidelines and still strap 63 boats together on lake's and boob luge cause virus ain't gunna kill us. That happens no matter who is in charge. Could we have been more prepared? Always but the other factor is many people have to first touch the stove to realize its hot.

My wife is an extroverted person by nature. So is her family and her friends. Me not so much. I have had to consistently be an ass to keep people apart. It's literally torture for these types of people. Oh well I must do what needs to be done.

It's the only way to explain it to anyone. I have had 2 flare ups in the past 4 years. Last go around with prednisone seems to have it suppressed. It's much worse in person to person.

Exactly. Had I not had an mri on my shoulder, totally unrelated that led to almost a year of round and round testing I would have never known I have sarcadosis. That MRI might have saved my life.

This is wild. People are going nuts, pointing fingers, getting sick, losing jobs and I'm just sitting here trying to figure out a solution to a problem that I have no control over.

I had not realized that the president touched on this very thing today. We have got to find a balance. No we dont want the virus to get out of control before we can supply treatment or cures. No I dont want to sit by and allow buisness all over the country to fail causing millions of people to lose everything you have ever had. I have been in a situation before when things got bad and I had to budget so tight I could put 5$ at a time in my truck just to go to work where with what I was making it felt like I was losing money, I thought that was bad. Imagine the whole country in that situation or worse, no job to go to.

I'm curious to see what happens when too many people start losing everything they have worked for and collectively say we will take our chances and get back to work......man this is a tough mess.

What can I say? Im a critical drinker turned critical thinker.

Was thinking earlier...usually a bad thing. You think all this power our governments is throwing around like closing all these private buisness, limiting social movements and what not will linger around after this passes. We sure are allowing ourselves to be doormatted.....I know it is necessary because people cant use their heads but a thought I had.

I understand that. These items in my small mind seem like they should be fairly easy to produce quickly for a country with our resources. Maybe I hold us to an unfair standard idk.

WW2. General motors built bombs, Ford built warplanes and tanks....they did this at an astonishing rate. How is it the greatest country in the world cant produce some fuging masks, gloves and gowns? I'm confused.

UPS driver here. Trusted fellow driver has heard that shipping company's are starting to hand out passes to their drivers so if they are pulled they have a work note. We have not received that info as of yet but I'm assuming people know what the brown truck is doing. I'm going to say that that goes along with the rumors you have heard. I have been around some people the past couple of days who are not taking it very serious...I held my tounge. Some people have to touch the burning stove.......welp that bitch is about to get turned up shortly.

I think the panic has subsided some and most people have come to the realization that it's time to nutt up and figure out their best method of grinding out the next month. I'll stay optimistic until I quit seeing trucks on the roads. When that stops...oh poo. UPS told us yesterday that we will not be shutting down any operations because we have been deemed "mission critical" and need to keep serving the communities. For those of you ordering things, you are not required to sign for any packages. Make sure you are paying attention to doorbells......porch pirates are about to be out and about. Boxes come from all over the place, I wouldnt leave the outer packaging laying around the house, even tho at ups workers are trying to take whatever measures they can to keep things clean. Remember......we dont want it either.

I gave up drinking for the most part too and that made a big difference. I cant put down the dip can tho. Grizzly has me by the nuts.

Now that I think of it I have never been more healthy than i am now after my diagnosis. It has forced me to change sleeping patterns, stress levels, diet, basically my life style. I know the threat of things such as corona virus is there but I feel my body is strong enough to take it. Maybe this entire ordeal will promote a more healthy lifestyle for people across the board.......probably not hahhaha.

I have sarcoidosis ( auto immune disorder ) it's in my lungs. We are doing what we can to stay clear of the virus but if it happens I'll fight it off like every thing else I have been exposed to due to the sarcoid. Will power is everything and people with underlying diseases or disorders are full of it. You and yours keep head strong, we will talk about this to our kids one day. They have your sisters husband on prednisone?

I think if this situation lingers, ideas like that need to be brought up. We can find ways to care for each other. I'd rather us figure it out than those dolts in washington tbh. Of course the government should be involved to help but I think our local community getting involved to help is just as big of a deal.

Certain places like sonic and kristophers in Matthew's are giving out free lunches to kids that are on the lunch program until they go back to school.....that is what it's all about. We know its here, we know what to do. We do not need the talking heads on news networks to tell us what to do. I'm optimistic with story's like that.

People dont want to leave their homes but need supplies. UPS and other delivery company's bout to get wrecked as long as there is enough supplies. Be sure to wave and smile at me while I drop off your stuff in my brown hazmat suit!

Specifically county water. I'm on monroe water and sewer and was told I am good....still boiled some this morning before work for the dog.

Ecoli in union county drinking water....like wtf is going on. Sheesh.
