The sky was falling about the offense and Zod was leading the mob against the team in the 2015 preseason. Then we had 15 wins and the #1 offense.

Where is Zod?  Has he entered the witness protection program?

I hope he's humbled and put in the work this off-season because that dude was completely full of himself last preseason. Dude would go out there and look like a damn speed bump and then be over there laughing it up on the sidelines and talking a big game when they'd interview him.

I think the guy has the talent to do the job. Hopefully last year's ass whooping was a needed wakeup call that sustained NFL success isn't easy.

I was about to post that he didn’t look humbled last season…. You beat me to it.

No comment on the thread derailment.

I’ve been digging marinating them in Italian dressing overnight and the grilling up with whatever sauce/seasoning you want. Top notch!

How about putting your chicken over my home made pasta?

We have a sunk cost in BY right now so might as well throw everything we have to help his succeed.

Per Wikipedia or any college level micro Econ course -

Sunk Cost Fallacy:  In economics and business decision-making, a sunk cost (also known as retrospective cost) is a cost that has already been incurred and cannot be recovered. [1] [2] Sunk costs are contrasted with prospective costs, which are future costs that may be avoided if action is taken.

I feel like halftime adjustments were an issue for Ron? Maybe I’m remembering it wrong.

What are these half time adjustments that you speak of?  I like the idea of the Panthers trying something new.  Maybe it will catch on throughout the league?

I don't expect him to break KB's 1008 rookie receiving yards. KB got force fed the ball, we will have Thielen and Johnson ahead of him in terms of yards and catches imo.

True, only so many throws to go around however, I’m sure that Canales will run some plays directed specifically at XL, to take advantage of his skill set.  His YAC and touchdowns per pass directed at him should give some insight into what to expect in the future when the distribution favors him more.

I'm not that familiar with Penny but his stats are great. The problem is injuries so doesn't he fit in really well as a tool to be used sparingly but for the right jobs? He has injury problems so you don't want him running too many times a game which is fine because with already have Chuba and just drafted Brooks but Penny could be the 3rd and short guy or 4th quarter run it down your throat with the lead guy, no? I don't see him as just depth but another potential weapon that if used correctly could be a very nice piece. He won't have to run the ball 20 times a game here. Mix him into the rotation lightly and use him when you want to pound the defense.

Running back by committee has been proven to work in the right situations…

The point is that Ladd could replace Johnson at a fraction of the cost. If Jaycee stays healthy, they're gonna have to make some hard decisions in a couple of years.

    Or Thielen in the slot…
