Like nah fam, that's just Shedeur Sanders against a non-Panthers backup defense.
Ouch! True, but ‘ouch’ none the less…

There is no point in getting your panties in a wad about the preseason.
'Panties in a wad' is the most current form of the previous 'panties in a bunch' or 'panties in a twist'. If one were to classify 'wad' as V3.0, which of 'bunch' and 'twist' would be V1.0 and V2.0? Anyone old enough to remember and admit it?
Well, we're still waiting for the Panthers cut list, what else do we have to discuss? Smoke 'em if you got 'em.

6 pass attempts 5 sacks.
Damn.
Makes sense. The rap on him at Colorado was that he held onto the ball waaaaay too long trying to make something happen.

How can we call Kyle PItts a safety Blanket?
Well, he would make our safeties look better in intra-team practice…

Most drops happen because you take your eyes off the ball assuming you'll just catch it from muscle memory. The solution is to see your hands catch the ball. Don't take it for granted. Actually see your hands close on the ball before you do anything else.
Sometimes happens when you start thinking about extending the play / YAC before you have secured the ball.

Might be in the running for the worst defense in the league again.

Watch them hire some even bigger buffoon.
I guess in theory that there could be a bigger buffoon but Newton has set that bar pretty high…

Screw Newton! I just hope that Chau makes the second year leap that Horn and Canales are claiming. Would be nice to see our draft picks progressing. Maybe we do have better position coaching under Canales and can develop players like real NFL teams do.

New Coke? Classic coke? Diet coke? Coke zero? Crown and coke. So many different cokes.
If there is a razor blade involved, I’m guessing it’s classic coke.

If Bryce is Purdy level in 3 years.. tag, trade and start back over
I wonder if Team Bryce realizes that this year he is playing for his next contract; that this is make or break for him. If he doesn’t shoot the lights out this year, I don’t think the team passes on the QB’s coming out next year.
Better won’t be enough to keep the team from drafting another first round QB. We’ve given him the tools, including T-Mac. No more excuses. He needs to look like the number 1 pick.

If the escort rumors are to be believed, seeking "professional help" is what got him in this problem in the first place!
Sure didn’t help Deshaun Watson. I was thinking more along the lines of a psychiatrist or professional counselor.

She was reported to have caused some trouble during a recent interview as well.
Current rumor surrounding her is that they met because she was working as an escort, but I don't know that there's any actual evidence supporting that theory.
Regardless, she does seem to be giving off some "Lady Macbeth" vibes.
As much as I hate the Patriots, I can’t take any joy or satisfaction seeing Bill crash and burn like this. He needs professional help.

This whole discussion reminds me of the scene in the movie 'Moneyball', when Billy Beane is sitting in the room with his highly skeptical scouts. "He gets on base."

Didn't our current GM make a brief appearance and dickheads dragged him for his pizza joint and history of head injuries?
Some people just don't deserve good things in life.
Some of us ate there. I had no complaints.

so last night my daughter who is playing softball had a parents vs daughter softball scrimmage. i grew up playing baseball and played softball for most of my college and adult life up until about a decade ago. i didn't really have any reason to stop, but i also wasn't in any situations to play. i figured, "why not?"
well, now i know "why not?". about 8 years ago i slipped at work and banged my head on the concrete floor. had a concussion that was pretty bad for a while, but that was a long time ago. the only lingering thing going on is that i have double vision, but i'm used to is. i've adjusted....or at least i thought i had.
i played catcher (one of the positions i used to play a lot) and i got up to bat. both ended up being terrifying. apparently when you've got double vision, it also affects your depth perception. i couldn't see the ball coming. well i saw it, but i didn't know where it was. i got hit once and i thought, "ok. i'm done."
i'm talking to my wife about it and she says, "well, you're probably never going to play softball again." that's a sad realization for some reason. well it was in the moment. then my thought was, "i really have to pee" and i was over it.
point of all that is, getting old is...... interesting.
thanks for letting me share.
Waiting now for Ortho Carolina to schedule my knee replacement. I feel you.

I think they’re called ‘coaches’. Many (not all) were players, themselves.
Having both veteran players and coaches that can pass that knowledge on to younger players is the ideal. Thielen did that well from the limited anecdotal evidence we read and the recent Coker interview. If Renfrow can be brought back onto the active 53, he can fill that role, too. If not, we’ll just have to rely on Moore, Idzik and Canales.
