    Came here to say this.

Rhule is essentially playing follow the leader during these joint practices, for better or worse.

I don’t necessarily a bad thing. Him and Reich agreed to go all out with the 1s in practice and play the 2s and 3s in the game. They might do something similar this week.

Taking input from another coach is not a weakness, taking feedback and being open to suggestions is a strength.

I’ve been on the Kai Jones train for a couple of months now. If we could grab him and one of the others mentioned, I would consider that a pretty solid draft. There’s no star player in that list, but it’s pretty unlikely there’s a star player at 11. And Kai Jones has immense upside imo.

Agree with you on Kai, would love if we trade back and grab him

  3. Listening to Mick you never knew if we got a first down or not, you never knew how long a play was etc. It was an absolute guessing game for the listener. You had to wait until the next snap to fully understand what happened the previous snap. I have no doubt he is a wonderful person, but he was an awful announcer.

I try to live with a no block life, will say theRed put it to a test. Litterbox crew only sperg out in random threads, then worm back to their hallow holes.

I still fight for Chuck to post with freedom..... even thought its Chuck and he dis-likes my opinions at times.  His Trainwreck alt has had some old school chuck vibes at times, its a tab too trolly currently tho...

I also try to just read the posts and not whom posted it, I hate putting people on list due to one comment form 4 months ago.

I actually like to hear different opinions and view points, but some posters are taking every thread and make it in to a pissing match, taking what was a good two-sided discussion and make it about them.

Some are obvious and funny, like the Teddy troll one. But the few that over and over derails every thread just overshadowes what I come to this board for.

Hilarious how joe went from being one of the worst beat writers in the country to now people care about what he says because he works for the athletic. It’s the same ole terrible joe.

Not sure if you subscribe to the Athletic or not, but Joe is doing a lot of good writing in there, not the same as when he was at the Observer.

I know a lot of people like to bash him because he is not breaking news. His article today about Jaycee Horn was excellent.

Looks like he projects all the other tackles except Sewell as RT😬

Here is his comment on Slater “...and I believe he can excel at left tackle...”.

    You might have missed it.

  7. Someone shared the Darnold to Robby stats a few weeks back, and they were really good.

Darnold’s stats when leading are also not bad.

His stats when trying to come from behind (and not throwing to Robby) are horrendous. Is that because Darnold sucks? Maybe. Is it because his coach is the worst in the league, his o-line and support cast stunk? Maybe.

I’m a glass half full person, so I hope we can bring out Darnold’s good side with good coaching and a strong support cast.

I said it in another thread and I stand by it, Slater did not look impressive to me especially in the 4th quarter of the Ohio St game (if you actually watch the game and not just his highlights from the game). And that is the game that everyone raves about. He was considered a 2nd round pick by multiple people then sat out a year and suddenly became a top 10 pick. I think he will be a good player but not worthy of #8 and not worth Darrisaw/Jenkins + other picks.

Thank you for sharing a different opinion and “justifying” why. There is way too much name calling and yelling at huddle in general.

My opinion differs from yours, but that’s what makes a good discussion.

  9. In my opinion we have to come away from round 1 with one of the three elite LTs. I wouldn’t risk trading back.

I hear people saying names in round 2 such as Eichenberg (btw his arms are 32 3/8...) and Leatherwood (who was abused by speed rushers), but that’s not good enough. We might as well just keep Trent Scott there if that is the case.

We have a chance to come away with a very good LT for the next 10 years, it is a no brainer!
