I am starting to think Mac Jones is going to be the pick.  Forget the mobility--smarts trumps mobility.   Not sure I am happy about this, but I trust the experts who had the chance to work with him. for 3 days.

And I think we have been harsh on him..Bama QB curse?  Too many weapons?  Well, you could argue to the move is to draft a smart qb that needs protection and weaponry and give him protection and weaponry.

I just think that Rhule liked him, and he built a career on recognizing talent that was overlooked.  A guy who covered the SR Bowl said he thinks Jones could be the 4th QB taken.

I am not happy about this, and this is why I am still bitter about the Rivera victory in DC.  However, how many people had Josh Allen as the #1 QB in that draft--I had him at #4.  So I lack the confidence to act like I know.

I’m thinking the same thing. But not with our first rounder. We might get Sewell or Slater in the first, then Mac in the second round.

I’ve been very skeptical of Mac (I still am to be honest, but if they think he is worth it after coaching him for a week, who am I to say otherwise?). But, how different is he really from Tua? Mac got more size, Tua is slightly more mobile? On the other hand, not sure how impressed I am with Tua...

    Daniel Jeremiah off NFL.com

That QB Jones keeps coming up.  I would not be surprised to see New England grab him when they pick.

    Mid-rounders who might interest us.

    Robert Hainsey, OL, Notre Dame

    Quinn Meinerz, interior O-lineman, Wisconsin-Whitewater.

    D'Ante Smith, OT, East Carolina

I read about D’Ante Smith somewhere else as well. High upside LT prospect. I assume he’s trending as a 2-3 rounder at this point?

Slater would be a great pick. I would be very happy with this. Literally the only non QB position I would want at 8

Totally agree on this one. Would love a QB, but a long term starter at LT would be great if the right QB is not there.

some of the guys I'm excited for Rhule to coach this week:

DBs Hamsah Nasirildeen and Jacoby Stevens

DL  Marvin Wilson and Marlon Tuilpulotu

LB Paddy Fisher, Monty Rice and Charles Snowden

OL  (all of them but especially )  Drake Jackson, Trey Smith, Alaric Jackson, Ben Cleveland Deonte Brown, Jack Anderson and Alex Leatherwood

    QB Kyle Trask

RBs Kylin Hill and Elijah Mitchell

    TE Noah Grey

WRs Marquez Stevenson,  Shi Smith, Kadarius Toney, Trevon Grimes, and Amari Rodgers.

Really wish Matt could coach these guys on the opposite roster.

    DB Devine Deablo Rodarius Williams

    DL Levi Onwuzuike

LB Baron Browning   Tuff Borland  Chazz Surratt and Tony Fields

    OT Dillon Radunz

    OL Creed Humphrey

    WR Nico Collins Sage Surratt.

I could make a good draft for the Panthers from just those guys.

OT Dillon Radunz is the one I’m really curious about. Seem to have everything you need in a LT, but hasn’t faced great competition. Probably need a year to build up strength etc.

Really interested in the OL group there are some STUDS in this game who will be in the rd 2-3 range

I agree. Us coaching in the senior bowl is a big deal for O-line in rounds 2-4.

  6. I saw this and I definitely agree:

“It would be really beneficial for all of us if we can change our way of thinking from just "am I going to get sick?" to "can my actions inadvertently put others at risk?”
