  1. that will be true considering that Browning and some of the other young WR do not ever develop better than average careers....But Corey Brown will be the name that is cited
  2. Ok!, I was wrong about Browning. I was at the game Saturday. when I saw that Browning wasn't going to play I realized he was no longer a Carolina Panther. However I hope we bring him back. Because the kid can play. We are keeping a guy [Corey Brown] that has demonstrated that he can not catch the ball. Prediction Carolina will finish 2-14 not because of the defense. the Carolina Offense will seriously struggle to put up points. Dropped balls and fumbles will plague the WR corps. leading to the termination of Ron Rivera. Rivera will not be termed for wins & losses but more so his inability to correctly evaluate and keep young talent and Gettlemen will follow ?
  3. LOL!!!!! YOU CATS ARE HILARIOUS....one minute you talking about how deep you are at WR. A player goes down and you puddy cats are screamin' the sky is fallin'. Shows that you bums have not done any research on the players that have arrived at this years training camp. There are at least 2 very capable and talented blossoming starters on that WR roster. Yes I believe Paul Browning is one of them
  4. LOL! YES!!!! I am going to comment it on it and You should here about it. Only because your post are the worst in evaluating why a business makes a financial decision. I am just pointing out Paul Browning is here late in training camp and has made a larger contribution to a win than some members that cost a lot more on the bottom line. Someone in the Carolina Panther organization has made a business decision in getting Paul Browning here that has paid a dividend thus far. One of you asked me to provide some background about the play of Paul Browning while he was in college. Well here is a tidbit. Which may explain or shed some light on Paul Browning. His red zone ratio I was told is an outstanding 98% as college football player. I was assured that number is on the low side. A PURE HANDS RECEIVER THAT IS A RED ZONE MONSTER! I am pretty sure we will see Paul Browning get more opportunities in the red zone which will suggest why he/Paul Browning was a late addition to the Carolina Panther training camp
  5. i wonder who you expert is picking to go home. LOL!!!! it won't be Browning. Looks like someone in that Carolina Panthers organization is looking pretty smart....looks like the number 11 receiver is about to move up a few spots. I wonder when the play was called Big Ron said...I need you to go win it for me because these other 10 WR that are ranked above you by the media is high-on keep dropping the ball. I was told you came from a fast pace PRO STYLE OFFENSE. Show me what we brought you here for.
  6. Then maybe you should pay attention to whats being said instead of your so called expertise....yes I have 4 post...my knowledge of the game and experiences supersedes just about anyone here.
  7. No I am not Paul, agent, friend or family member...considering its only a few hours from game time I couldn't be him...you guys are hilarious. I just raised a thought of how such a player lands such an opportunity. Its not by mistake...I am 77yrs old and i have seen a lot of unpolished talent get picked up and become treasures. This kid may become one that's all.
  8. If you are relying on "the media that matters" LOL!!!! name a media person that is signing game checks or paying for team research. Browning is not there for a look and see somebody believes this guy can play. If he plays his butt off and earns a spot...someone is going to look very smart. People like you...well, you know what happens
  9. all I am saying is this. The guy gets brought in to training camp to do what? Why is he here? All time receiver at a young program (DII) and DII National champ was a potential draft pic before an injury. I was at the practice when arrived. Yes I am very surprised that the Panthers used a spot this late in camp to get a guy from such a small program. If you know anything about the skill positions you know that is a valued spot that teams do not waste time on just to take a look at this late in the process. When I did research on Browning I find that this guy is quietly raising a lot of eyebrows. All I am saying is don't be surprised.
  10. I read these post and i keep asking myself have any of you been to these practices? Because I see the UDFA Paul Browning as a player that will more than likely make this roster. This guy keeps showing improvement as a difficult match up. I will not be surprised if he steals the show. Browning breaks tackles looks very strong.
  11. I understand everyone's rush to judgement on the possible roster spots at WR. I don't think or believe that the Panthers brought in the UDFA Paul Browning to fill a jersey. For what I understand and heard about the talent at the small DII Football Champions CSU-Pueblo in particular Paul Browning is not a rec to sleep on. He is a monster of a match up. oes not look like much at practice but is one of those game time guys and has a big chip on his shoulder underneath all that niceness that I am not buying.
