Luvu was a solid starter and brought a lot of needed energy on the defense side of the ball and I wish he still could have stayed, but Luvu was out of position a lot in the run game and was a below average coverage linebacker
Burns only cared about getting paid and was constantly taken out by a single TE during games. For the amount of money he eventually got paid, there hasn't been a single instance in his career were he fully took over a game besides the first half of the Falcon game last season. How many game winning drives by the opponent has there been that Burns misses a tackle/sack and/or doesn't make a game saving play?

Note: I'm willing to concede NT probably is a bigger depth need than starter need, but I just never felt like Shy was a natural fit for NT and he is currently the closest thing we have still. I was hoping we brought in Robinson for that role but he repeatedly stated in his press conference that he has never been an NT and doesnt plan to ever be an NT.
shy did not look good at NT last season. I noticed the back up players (labryan ray and nick Thurman) playing more snaps at NT than Shy during games

lol most physicians don't even make that much

whether Corbert plays at an elite level or a failure at center, the guy is coming back from back to back knee injuries/surgery and is the final year of contract.
the backup plan as of now at center is Cade mays and Brady Christensen

this is prob the best pick in our class both value and potential wise
Sander could have easily gone in the 2nd round but we were able to pick him up with a 4th.
Great size, good hands, and is only 21 year old

Okay.
Jon Snow's Ass - Tight End - Butte College
6th Round
Pros:
Great size. Excellent Receiver. Always near the balls. Hungry.
Cons:
Needs more time in the gym. Prone to spew poo on the field.
Consensus:
Good late round prospect, but cracks and holes in his game taint his possibility of going any earlier.
is this Ian Thomas scouting report?

they could have stayed at 65 and picked Colson if they wanted a LB but instead gambled for an extra 5th

dan Morgan about to use that 5th round pick from the jets to trade back up in the 3rd

dan Morgan must really love and hate his 5th round picks

every pick so far in the 2nd has been WRs and DTs

I wouldnt mind a running back in the 3rd round. Lots of talent available while picking BPA with DB's, center, Wr, TE at the top of the 2nd round

we really don't need Theilen living in the slot so heavily. He lowers the ceiling and threat of the offense given how much Bryce likes those throws. We need youth and speed in the slot that can actually do something with the ball.
I'd like to see Thielen reduced in the slot.
idk I don't see Thielen having the speed to work on the outside at this stage of career. he was deadly in the first half of season when he was going against linebackers and nickel corners. but once defenses noticed that and schemed against thielen, he was taken out of the offense. however, thielen is still a reliable receiver and hopefully with the addition of diontae and possible draft picks, we can spread the defense out more

Dionte at X and Theilen at Slot
Just need to find a Z and TE to step up

I thought we were drafting Herbert and we'd jump a few spots. When he was not picked at #6, we just sat there. (that is how I remember it.)
hurney wanted to trade up for Herbert but rhule wanted to trade down. also rhule never wanted a rookie QB

dj chark is no mike evans / dk Metcalf but canales does have good success with taller vertical deep threats

The real question is: "Who will be the new offseason/preseason MVP now that CJ Henderson is gone?"

only the panthers would tank when they traded away their first round pick

Yeah, I think it's more of a formality since they traded up for him in the 3rd. But I agree the new coach said he has no emotional connection to any of the players and Evero doesn't strike me as the type that's going to play a guy just because he was drafted hire than a better player
fitt was one that made the dumb trade up but wasn't it Evero that wanted Dj Johnson?

For Bryce Young and Dave Canales, the emphasis is on details

you would think since he is only 5'10 and physically limited in all regards not only as quarterback but an NFL player, he would at least have solid basic fundementals needed to overcome his limitations.
