dj chark is no mike evans / dk Metcalf but canales does have good success with taller vertical deep threats

The real question is: "Who will be the new offseason/preseason MVP now that CJ Henderson is gone?"

only the panthers would tank when they traded away their first round pick

Yeah, I think it's more of a formality since they traded up for him in the 3rd. But I agree the new coach said he has no emotional connection to any of the players and Evero doesn't strike me as the type that's going to play a guy just because he was drafted hire than a better player
fitt was one that made the dumb trade up but wasn't it Evero that wanted Dj Johnson?

bro saw another 5'10 QB and said "yeah, I'm good"

tbh this is a win for the panthers
Chase young used the panthers to drive his price up and the Aints ended up having to pay more after getting into a bidding war with us

don't publicity state to the entire world you turned down a monster trade package of two 1st and one 2nd and then hoping the player would take a hometown discount because you said nice things about him

Hubbard, Blackshear, 5th round Draft pick, Sanders as far as I'm concerned.
Although, with the IOL upgrades, there's a chance Sanders could return to 2022 form.
Sanders can go. He was a Duce Staley's hand picked RB. We don't need his fumbles and terrible vision while complaining about the fans

Bengals got a comp pick for him this year and got him back and we pay all but vet min minimum of his $6 million 1 year deal with Bengals Great piece of business by them
and panthers end up with 9.89 mil in dead cap
-
they can still extend Taylor Moton to lower cap
-
not overreacting, this is the BS pretty much every panthers called out when the bad decisions and moves were being made. except even worse than worst case scenarios

I never want to see chandler zavala lined up ever again

knowing the panthers, they'll win some meaningless games in December and push us out of the number one overall only to trade back up into the pick

Hey, comp picks coming in 2025 if we don't fug it up. Wait...
too late, the Robert hunt signing pretty much already cancelled out Luvu and YGM signings

besides Ryan kalil and Taylor Moton, what 2nd round pick has made an impact and resigned into a second contract in the last 20 years?

We could’ve had two first rounders a year ago and now we only get a 2nd and 5th? All of our good players gone in a couple years time. This franchise is ridiculous. We are the laughing stock of the league.
those future 1st would have been in the deal for Chicago trade and DJ Moore would still be here under a decent contract
-
this why the panthers are in cap hell every single season. signing bad players to bad contracts and then releasing them a season or two later

Ian Thomas would actually be a very solid TE if he knew how to catch, get open, block, run after catch, and if 5'10/185 pound cornerbacks didn't exist.

my guess is that he somewhat familiar with Canales offense during their short time together in Seattle

nothing will help this offense and Bryce more than a game changing TE
Tremble can be a solid in the number 2 TE role and Sullivan has shown flashes with his receiving abilities

Russ isn't a traditional running QB, but he still relies on his wheels a lot as a passer. His entire play style in Seattle was running around like a cartoon character until he heaved up a pass downfield. He can't really get away like he used to.
crazy how bad he is now that he doesn't have a horseshoe up his ass were he just chucks it 50 yards down the field in double coverage and his receivers bails him out
also not having Beastmode and LOB making it easier for him anymore
