He most definitely is. Only reason there are any other issues is due to injuries depleting depth that was there.

our two big D-line signing this past offseason has been a disappointment

Wharton is either injured or gets bullied in the run game

Bobby Brown is a run defender specialist and makes plays when he's on the field but he rarely gets any snaps

However, consider the decision to not get a better backup QB and practice squad QB falls squarely  on him   He is both HC and OC

I won't fault DC on "inheriting" Young, but he was hired mainly to develop BY

However, Bryce isn't our main issue with the offense

Since hiring DC, we've used two 1st round picks on WR (T-mac is unicorn, XL is inconsistent)

Have the highest paid O-line (injuries are effecting this unit)

And a back to back 200 yard RB in Rico

However, DC consistently plays the wrong player over the better player (Corbett>Mays, Chuba>Rico)

His play calling gets too cute at times, his redzone offense is abysmal, and time clock management is awful.

We've spent too much draft picks and resources on the offensive side of the ball for our "offensive minded head coach" and this is the results we get

so basically canales sucks at offense and evero sucks at defense
