Like FFS I get people here dont like Tepper but lets not make poo up just to fuel that hate.
Everything Tepper has done this year is positive. Hell even what he did last year in the offseason was positive. I blame Reich more on putting a poor staff together that didnt work then Tepper. All Reich said last offseason was how Tepper allowed them to spend as much money as they needed to build the staff.

i wouldn't hate this. would like to see another WR in there in addition to McConkey.
how many receivers we need?

i mean this is tepper and he's done this every single season since being here and loves to throw poo away and draft the wrong people.

It was. But the next one is April 26/27 when Dan Morgan drafts 4 quality starters. One which will end up being a probowler.
i'll revisit this at a later date.
The "playoff run" was after the Cam game where hope was restored in the franchise. You could argue that Atlanta game where DJ got the hose call. Lions game that year was a pretty high point, but then we just Panthered for two weeks after and poo the bed as usual.

Everyone thinks the Panthers are going WR in the second. Watch them not take one until late in the draft if they take one at all.
iunno unless they setting up a smoke screen for legette i don't see it happening. i'd still like to see OL/LB at 33 then WR at 39.

Betting on the Panthers is like betting on Diddy not touching anyone at his parties.
i haven't seen anyone bring up that Diddy wanted to buy this team.

Eh, Chase Claypool exists. Also when receivers left there, they never did anything.

Big FA move or trade = more bitching and moaning from RumHam.
Lol name one move that has been good in seven years?

While most are hoping to strike gold in the 2nd (which we did one time 25 years ago) houston now went from the worst in the league to the best. It all starts with tepper. They made a move happen and we still trotting out practice squad for Bryce, who wasnt the right pick. Chicago will be poised. Most teams in our position end up better, but not this franchise. What a joke.

Hmm I'd like to go back and watch what he had on Mingo last year as well....Haven't watched their tape back to back but the ras scores are nearly identical
the thing is the mentality is different. legette probably be higher any other year but not the archetype some are looking for. Dude is game focused, Mingo isn't.

Here we go with the "hot takes" again. True - Bryce doesn't have an elite arm, but he DOES have a good arm. More than adequate for the NFL. Particularly because he can throw from odd angles and doesn't need to set his feet to deliver with accuracy. If he sets his feet and lets the ball rip, it'd have a lot more velocity. But that's not his game. It's not a physical limitation. It's a choice to not throw with high velocity all the time. Which you shouldn't. But I agree, there were times when he should have put more zip on the ball, or more air under the pass. He's a finesse passer. Not a Cam.
Footwork does need to be cleaned up. But I can't blame the man for wanting to be in a position to bail playing behind that oline, with those receivers, in that scheme. He showed plenty of zip on a number of throws last season. He showed the ability to move defenders with his eyes/body movement and throw with high level anticipation - rookies aren't normally able to do either consistently. He showed that he was very elusive when he did decide to run. Decision making was his biggest issue, but that comes with time and/or good coaching. I mean, he WAS a rookie without much help last year. The plan for this season, is to give him a better supporting cast, so that they're able to determine if he's the guy. Do we think Canales and Morgan decided to replace 3/5 of the oline, and bring in 2 new WRs (possibly another 2 in the draft) because guys were open and Bryce couldn't get them the ball? No. They watched the film and saw a team that put too much pressure on one player - that happened to be a rookie.
Particularly because he can throw from odd angles and doesn't need to set his feet to deliver with accuracy.
Well this was proven wrong
