  1. Reimer makes sense in the Anaheim scenario. I don’t see us moving anyone to TB, don’t want a disgruntled guy feeding them info, they’ve already cut their dead weight mostly in trades and as above expansion draft. As for Dougie we offered 6.5 and he wants 8.5 but really wants to stay here so I could see us talking him down to 7.5 maybe even 7 if we give him a no move clause(though don’t know how many of those you can have active on a team). Getting that cap space now may be crucial. i was all aboard the moving on from Dougie cause he costs too much before this whole streak but he’s really trying to prove why he deserves the money. The 2 way game is the key with him though.
  2. Thought my counter point to my counter point is who is going to think that far ahead with the expansion draft potentially fugging everything up. Though someone like Mrazek may be worth the “tag”.
  3. Before I read the rest, and my counter point is Buffalo is apparently high in the mix for a goalie improvement. Both Mrazek and Reimer would be an upgrade however would either want to sign there after the season. Mrazek would be the longer term bet for them if he decides to stay and we could net ourselves cap space + a high prospect this draft in case *knock on wood* something goes wrong with an injury. Reimer would too but I don’t see us getting as much for him. If it’s a rental for this season heading into the playoffs yes totally agree with you.
  4. There is no way you trade that much to secure a QB that probably won’t go until the teens unless you know someone else wants to snipe him.
  5. True but if Lances only perceived issue is reading the defense enter Kyle Shannahan. I guess we don’t know what the Jets are going to do but no SF person at Wilson’s Pro Day even for due diligence is suspect. I guess it’s Wilson/Lance at 3 dependent on what 2 does but I suspect if the jets didn’t bite on a super trade like that they already know who they want.
  6. Nah, i think you are spot on with Lance to SF. There is no way you give up that much capital without knowing you'll get your guy.
  7. That makes complete sense and barring another monkey wrench it looks like 4QB’s + Sewell off the board in the top 5. Not sure who Miami + Detroit is targeting now either.
  8. It’s basically Lance or Fields I think. With the other going at 4.
  9. Holy poo. I feel like all these GMs are pre discussion who they are going to pick.
  10. #2 = 3 first(maybe 4), plus a second this year. Ouch.
  11. Yes but we’d see more of rhule with young players and see if fitt can fill the holes we have right now outside of a QB. If our OL is anything like last year(injuries were a huge issue last year and we signed two injury prone guys) putting a rookie QB behind them isn’t going to be the smartest thing this season. However if it looks like we have a cohesive unit across the boards trading the moon becomes much more amicable, if we don’t suck. I’m not rhuling that out.
  12. Instead of giving up years worth of picks this year with the Swiss cheese of the team we got right now. Stock up on CB and OL with a WR and Parsons for good merit. Improve every area then cut bait with teddy next season and pick up Howell. Trading the moon in picks this season people like you. Just don’t get it.
  13. Yes. If we suck we draft the UNC QB next year.
  14. Holy poo that’s way too much. I wonder which QB they have in mind for fugging 3 first rounds with Lawrence off the board obviously. They must expect Atlanta to want their target to move up to 3 for that much.
  15. Figured this deserved its own thread. I wonder which one? Sorry, don’t got an athletic sub so can’t link more. Suffice to say. That’s a pretty strong statement. I think most people want it to be Reimer but I have a feeling it’s Mrazek. For what though is the question. A vet 4th liner is all we really need right now.
  16. I’m not sure if there’s anyone better for 3v3 right now in the division if not the league than Aho, Necas & Dougie.
  17. When did Rod scramble the lines. I’m so confused right now.
  18. Ref totally fugged Foegele there. He literally came off the wall into Foegele’s line.
  19. Gotta sync up line one with Dougie. Can’t break Dougie’s streak.
  20. And that’s where Ned’s size is lacking. I still like starting him back to back though.
