    Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing a different assistant coach or two but I'd rather not get rid of the one of the best coaches in the NHL. Guys play hard for Rod. We're spoiled.

    I was saying this the other day. Last man to man defense that won the cup was in 2010 I think. If you're not perfect the system doesn't work, or at the very least you're giving up grade A chances. I think we need a Igor type goalie to make it come together.

    I saw this reported yesterday and laughed. Surely the Canes aren't that dumb. Seems that it's more other teams hoping they can sew discord lol. Rod will be a cane for life, I have no doubt.

    I don't disagree with this, however...in our man defensive philosophy people can get lost in translation and grade A's appear. It helps to have a lot of game time to get into the flow of it all. I think 2010 was the last year a primarily man defense won the cup...everyone has to be perfect. Hopefully, he comes in and doesn't miss a beat!!

    No Pesce for remainder of 1st round. TDA draws in...I'm always worried about defensive injuries in the playoffs for the Canes. Our defensive style doesn't bode well for substitutes. Hopefully Tony plays well! LETS GO CANES.
