I get the pessimistic reaction in here, but this is dealing with people. I think the actions post-Reich have shown Tepper has reflected some. Now, it could be a play and he's not changed at all and he's still the meddling owner that is destroying the franchise, but I am willing to let my optimism win.
Tepper introduced the press conference, introduced the GM and HC and fuged off. Good. Hopefully it is a sign of change. But I'm cautious.

One of Tepper's locker room snitches. One of several. Hopefully the rest get the boot. You destroy a locker room by having guys reporting their findings back to the front office

Anybody else get back into it? I beat it on initial release and enjoyed my time into endgame content but stopped on Deviljho. Got it for PC when it went on the massive sale on Steam and really dig it with my PC which can crank higher frames on ultra settings (PS4 looked nice, but this is truly impressive).
I'm probably gonna stick with it into deeper endgame this go around and see what iceborne is about. It's a nice getaway from CS2/Valorant and Escape From Tarkov (I don't know why I can't quit that beautifully poo game).

Give. Me. Mike. Vrabel.
I don't want to experiment with some coordinator who may or may not work out. Gimme the guy who did a bang up job with a roster made of chicken poo and the ownership traded away the chicken and handed him spam in the form of rookie QB. Give me the man who isn't putting up with bullshit and laziness. Give me the man driving men to be great.

I don’t know much about wrestling….but I know the Panthers aren’t Sting.
If you knew Sting, you'd know two things about that reference.
Multiple times he pulled off a mask to reveal another Sting mask. Which parallels our lack of change, particularly recently. Also, his tag line of "the only thing for certain about Sting, is nothing is certain".
But no, the Panthers aren't iconic. Lol

The stench of Rebel Yell should be lifted by now. Let's do it. I don't watch as regularly as I used to, but I def keep up via the Internet and catch episodes when I can
@Zod is the only one you can @ but I doubt that he's checking notifications on that one

I saw Edge powerbomb some guy through a flaming table and I think the only part of his body to touch the table was the heels of his boots. It was BAD
That was rough. Promo work is getting worse too. There's too much leaning into the fourth wall now. They acknowledge that we know it's a work. Everything becomes hollow.

I’m glad you got that reference. They have become “spot” porn where it’s not about wrestling or even the story but dangerous spots that are going to leave legit guys like Darby Allen crippled in a few years. Also, way too much blood.
sorry for the wrestling rant….
It's like they watched what Vince did the last decade, realized the only real spots they did were the setup and the finish, and decided "hey, let's do the opposite, have no story and no real match, just dudes hitting spots for 7 minutes until the fans tell us they're bored, last spot before boos get too loud wins". Lol

Wrong. The panthers are the AEW. New shiny toy that has worn very thin with the wrestling community.
Shame too. Had hope for AEW

I wish I took a picture. You would have been blown away away from the age gap. Grandpa had to be in his 80's.
Don't doubt it. Societal failure that we make that a thing. I knew a 21 year old who got married to a 75 year old man who was...rough. never understood it until somebody mentioned he's worth about 1.5 million and has terminal cancer. Lol
Edit: I think a lot of that was investment money, but still. After the tax hit, she could be sitting on a very comfy nest egg

So I'm at Walmart sitting in my car as my girlfriend is picking up a few items, and this car pulls up beside me. 2 people get out of the car one is this young girl looks like she's in her early 20's. Then the other dude is a really older guy grey beard looks like he could be at least 75 or older. I'm thinking this is a grandpa with his granddaughter type situation.
Anyway they get out and she's talking to her friend on the phone about another guy in front of the older guy. The older guy is posted up on her car just looking at her talk on the phone. He has this sexual look on his face and he's smiling as they are talking on the phone . Turns out this old man is more than likely a sugar daddy cheating on his wife. He then goes to another car which was probably his as he had it parked before they pulled up. My guess is these 2 probably just came from a hotel together. This is a sick world we live in.
Never seen anything like that. Parents please make sure your kids are safe, talk to them about this kind of activity. You never want your kids to end up like this young lady. Selling your body for money is basically prostitution in my eyes. These old elderly men we see can't be trusted. Just a sick world!
To the bolded...that is exactly what prostitution is. fuging old guys for money, porn, onlyfans, boob streamers on Twitch, it's all varying degrees of prostitution. Or sex work, if we're going to sanitize the language of it these days I guess. Either way, it's the kind of poo everybody claims is totally fine until their daughter is doing it. Then they have to either 1) say they'd be totally fine with their daughter doing it, proving they don't give a poo about the health, safety and character of their daughter or 2) prove they're hypocrites.

Wow, the second I switched over to watch, a popup asked "Do you mind if Peacock shares your info with the NFL?" I told them they couldn't.
That's the neat part. They're still gonna. It's essentially a notice that they do. Your response just tells them how pissed average Americans are about it lol

Idk about WCW as a whole comparison, but we're definitely Sting

Of course they are way better top to bottom in the organization. Thinking Stroud comes here and does this in Carolina this year is asinine
He absolutely doesn't. Stroud does come here and outperform what Bryce did though

This is naturally what's happening and people will buy and cancel for a month. I've done it few times with AppleTV+. There's too many options now as the conglomerates are trying to reshuffle the streaming game. I mean, there's what?..
AppleTV+
Disney: Hulu, Disney+, ESPN
Netflix
Amazon: PrimeTV
WarnerBros: Max
The two that will continue to struggle (no matter what show rights they own):
Paramount: Paramount+
Comcast/NBC: Peacock
I'm pushing back on Paramount+. As a parent of toddlers, it's a must. Paw Patrol and SpongeBob on demand. Lol

At the end of the day, there is not a single thing that suggest Bryce would be having the kind of game Stroud has had today in this environment. Stroud is superior.
Not to say Bryce will never be this good....but he damn sure ain't right now.

Flacco is taking this opportunity to let a naysayer know. He's gonna come from behind in the second half and be dominant.

Again, just rumors amongst the talking heads. Of that list, Belichick is the only one I expect to go. Vrabel is probabaly 50-50 and Carrol isn't quite ready to retire yet, I wouldn't think. Pederson is likely safe this year, but he can't afford to miss the playoffs again in '24, especially in a repeat fashion of this season.
fug it, come on down Mike Vrabel. But I don't see him getting fired. Team was competitive in every game, had a poo ton of inconsistency but should improve as Levis continues to grow. Think next year is his hot seat year.
-
Bieniemy was literally a rubbing back.
Adam Stenavich was an offensive lineman.
But point taken, most OCs played QB.
I think he's done well, especially since Frank was fired
-
Three versions of every story. Side A, side B, and the truth. Regardless, Tepper is a fuging idiot for doing it and it absolutely blows my mind he didn't get more than a stern look by the league. If a player tosses a cup of Gatorade on fans in row 1 when they're talking poo, we're talking big time problems for that guy

This should be enough to get Tepper bounced. Representative of the league behaving in what is an objectively criminal manner towards fans within an NFL stadium.
Reality is, the fan could take out his assault charge. He'd get it. Bond would be stupid low and paid instantly. Tepper would offer an amount of money too good to refuse to settle the matter out of court, charges dropped, NFL happy because no drama.
-
I'd take Tomlin as long as we're not fuging short leashing him. Let him run his team. And give him more than a season to fix this poo show.
Tepper went from "we're gonna give Rhule 7 years" to "ok so he got a couple" to "Frank isn't getting a full season". At this rate, whoever the next coach is has 5 games to win or he's fired too

Someone's first day watching football?
We're the worst team in football. I'm far more interested in seeing an attitude of "fug these guys" being instilled for the future than trying to seal a win tbh. I think, odds are, we win regardless. That being the case, let's see just one run up the gut to pay off Hubbard's effort all day potentially.

Introductory Press Conference
in Carolina Panthers

Well to the defense's credit, they were on the field forever. Our D wasn't a big issue last season. It wasn't perfect or sexy, and we didn't have playmakers doing much, but it wasn't necessarily bad by any stretch.
I like our defensive scheme a lot. Just need players man.
