  2. You are listening to the wrong people. I assume you are referencing MSM, politicians and social media? There are plenty of purely factual sites that provide pure data and no opinion. Then you can make your own conclusions.
  3. https://covid19-projections.com/ Hover over the state for 7 day averages and change. These numbers will change almost daily and it only takes a few deaths to move the needle so I know there isn't a ton of credibility on a daily basis. FL and Arizona have remained red for both cases and deaths though.
  4. Yeah the "just quarantine those at risk" is not an option. Cant't trust Americans to wear a simple mask. We are going to trust all young people just to know who is at risk and stay away? Certain states and countries have shown what works. And its fairly simple. Why don't we just do that instead of ignoring it, calling for young people to congregate, calling it a hoax or blaming mass hysteria? Anyway, SC showing a spike in deaths. Yay.

  6. https://covid19-projections.com/ NC flipped to blue (deaths decreasing rapidly) in the latest projections. So that's something. Yes I know how projections work.
  7. 100% this. Doesn't seem to complicated.
  8. https://www.wral.com/coronavirus/how-north-carolina-transformed-itself-into-the-worst-state-to-be-unemployed/19167778/?fbclid=IwAR1FfMyCZQ-hUE5Xzw3QbZV7ro8eOqehyoGbOEgNXKcy5z_fGWrktJJxu8E Sad article.
  9. Our government has the ability to print enough money. It doesn't really have a savings account as far as my understanding goes. If we use GDP as a proxy that would be another $20T for a year. American salary for a year would be around the same. I think that would have massive global economic effects.
  10. NY, NJ, CT has asked for quarantine on visitors from 16 states including NC. https://www.npr.org/sections/coronavirus-live-updates/2020/06/30/885792987/n-y-n-j-and-connecticut-add-several-states-to-list-that-must-quarantine
  11. Maine currently requires visitors to have a test or quarantine for 14 days. It is enforced by hotels, BNB, campgrounds etc. NY and NJ and maybe CT have suggested doing the same. I understand it can't be completely enforced but it would help.
  12. What is interesting is a few states may be recovered enough to start having fans this fall while it looks like others don't have a chance. Giants and Jets maybe. Cardinals hell no.
  13. Wes is just being childish. No idea on Stirs.
  14. There are literally charts in the data I provided. That's how it works when you provide actual sources. Here are some others that clearly show Florida is in a much worse condition. https://covid19-projections.com/ https://rt.live/
  15. When citing data you need to be clear and provide sources. You say New York and NYC but don't clarify which is in this data. Also not sure which column is which. Also this chart suggests your data is wrong. June 26th has 14 deaths for the state of New York https://ycharts.com/indicators/new_york_coronavirus_deaths_per_day while this chart has the state of Florida at 41 deaths on the same day https://ycharts.com/indicators/florida_coronavirus_deaths_per_day In other words your data looks like garbage.
  16. Probably lots if this board is indicative of the general population in the south. My family wears them religiously and it doesn't inconvenience any of us. We actually already had a box when all this started in February. People just ignore it down here.
  17. No it's a dumb conservative tactic. Tell other people what they are saying then argue against it. Anti-intellectualism and bad faith argument.
  18. That is clearly not the point.
  19. Whataboutism is tedious and doesn't make a point. Florida has botched this and no amount of "But NYC" is going to change it.
