Imagine caring if a player had a burner twitter account…..
if you care, this is your sign to get out and touch grass.

Sometimes I wonder what it must be like to be this knee jerk reactionary after a single and very predictable loss.. but I think I’m good.

So, I used to make a yearly “lol @ you” post after every first loss of the season. Lots of people in here that have unrealistic expectations and freak out after the first loss. Nothing to see here or freak out about. I’d be far more interested in seeing how Young improves from week 1 to week 8 and then toward the end of the season.
we want to see progression, that’s the only thing you should be looking for right now. The first 3 games are for nothing more than setting the base line for expectations. So if you had any at all before today that’s on you.
ps. People hate being told theyre overreacting cry babies but many on here are.

Hey! We finally don’t look terrible tonight!
(seriously though I wonder how much of this is frank calling the plays)

You mean the same Cam Newton that you proudly made fun of constantly?
It amazes me how many people don’t realize he’s full of crap. I feel like he’s more of a low key troll than anything else. Bored people and their hobbies I guess

"It doesn't matter win or loss, it matters the way they went about their business tonight."
--John Harbaugh (in this video)
That's what the point of preseason is, and what determines that are the goals that are set by the coaches.
Harbaugh, just like you are trying to do in this thread, is really using a straw man. No one here is saying that preseason doesn't matter, and I personally have never seen a reporter write that preseason doesn't matter. Everyone knows it matters, but wins and losses in preseason are largely not the measure of "success" during the regular season.
Everyone knows that preseason games matter to the guys who are actually trying to develop and prove that they deserve to be in the NFL.
2007 Lions went 4-0 in the preseason that’s what tell everyone who says preseason matters

This is a message board sir. You can't come here and expect people to agree with you. Speak for yourself. Don't try to convince others to agree with you. We all have our own opinions.
Have a nice day.
Nobody likes to hear man-children crying because they’re stupid man. This isn’t the forum for you.
you have nice day as well.

I have higher expectations than you.
It's alright. Nobody has to think like you. Im sick of some of you people trying to tell others what they should think of this team. Nobody is giving up on the team. Im just saying we look like poo!
Play better and I will be the biggest fan on this board.
I’m telling you what reasonable expectations are. Yours are clearly not based in reality and will only lead to constant whining posts from you and people like you because your expectations are unrealistic.
I’m telling you because I’d rather not have to deal with idiots spam post whining/crybaby posts for what is essentially a predictable outcome. Want to whine like a child at someone that cares contact the panthers directly.

Frank is not cut for this job. Players laughing it up on the sidelines making jokes while mic'd up while we were getting spanked just shows a lack of respect and accountability.
Tepper simply can't hire the right coach. People still giving up on the season before it even starts.
This has been the Tepper era sadly.
ROFL! Look, so far I’m not a fan at all based on what I’ve seen on the field, but if this is your hot take after a couple preseason games you might want to get out and touch grass.
yeah we haven’t looked good but it’s also preseason. Now if we still look like hot poo after mid point of this season you may have a point, but saying this stuff now is silly.

No doubt about that, someone was saying Super Bowl yesterday and that’s just silly talk

Long time huddle vet, been on the huddle 19 years. 1 preseason game by itself is meaningless.
best you could hope for is to see either positive or negative trends over all the preseason games. But they in large are completely pointless otherwise.
Also, the year the lions went 0-16 they were 4-0 on the preseason, so keep that in mind.

Contract years matter more.
hate to say it but I’ve seen this show before and I wouldn’t be surprised if this was the primary cause. People try hardest when their money is on the line.

This 100% sounds like a rip current.
PLT: if it’s rough out there don’t go in water above your waste, you can get pulled out very quickly by a rip current and a lot of people don’t know what to look for and how to swim out of them. Which is diagonally to the beach, never against, you’ll just wear yourself out.
I live in a coastal area of NC and was at the beach this past weekend. I took one look at the water and instantly decided I wasn’t going in. There were people that went out swimming past the sand bar, that literally didn’t have a clue the danger they were in, life guards and police were walking over to areas with no life guards present warning people not to swim. Even with that, one idiot by where I was, who clearly couldn’t swim that well kept going in right in front of me. Life guard came by twice to tell them to quit going in so far.

We got the cash right?
I think so, issue is we also have to pay Brian Burns this year, don’t know if we have enough cap space to do both.
next year once all this dead cap is gone we should be good!

It's the off-season and he is a former player. It's just news and carrying on conversation. If you don't like it, you didn't have to even click on it did you?
I’m just tired of people’s obsession with this crazy ass. We really don’t need more about him, even in the off-season.
-
Guys, Hardy hasn’t played for us in nearly 10 years, out side of being a nut, he’s not even a noteworthy former Panther.
enough is enough, I don’t care and this shouldn’t be in the Panthers topic area.

There's no clandestine plan here - someone simply got their hands on (incomplete) S2 test scores and released them for clout.
There was a lot more than just the S2 scores, that was the just last thing and the biggest, it built to that over about two weeks.

He must have really messed up when he interviewed with teams. Washington and Tampa passing on him was surprising.
That was my biggest take away too, but I don’t think him or Hendon Hooker are gonna make it out of round 2

I said it before and I’ll say it again, I think all the Levis and Stroud stuff was from the Colts, they put a lot of BS out there to try and get CJ to Drop past the Texans. Didn’t work and funny to see a team actively try to tank a players stock before the draft.

the problem is that this last week before the draft, especially in the last couple days leading up to it, this is when the truths start to slip out as well.
easiest thing to do is just assume that everyone is lying, but right now it's about a 50/50 chance that what you are hearing is true.
I hear ya, but I’m also convinced the stuff surrounding Levis and Stroud is teams lying, talking Levis up and Stroud down.
This really JC Horn's burner Twitter account though?

I’ve heard worse on here, directed at me personally. People say dumb things online when they think they’re anonymous. Again, don’t care.
