Looks like someone read my post from yesterday and decided to make a thread on it lol

Just stop trading.
you could argue the biggest mistakes we have made over the last 3 years all involved us doing trades. If we end up with the worst record in the NFL this season, which right now looks possible. It may go down as the single worst move in team history, and by a wide margin at that, basically we would have traded DJ Moore and Caleb Williams for Bryce Young…. Which I don’t think there’s a person here who would say that’s a good idea.

And Bryce will be a bust.
anyone else?
heads will roll…
Terrified? Hardly, I said it the entire time that Stroud should have been the pick over young, I’ve still seen nothing to make me move from that stance.
Bryce Young was the wrong pick imo at #1.
with that said there is no point in crying over spilt milk.
you should only be terrified if you wanted Young and he doesn’t work out.

So confused how you could be saying this after two games? It’s called a gradual introduction to the offense guys, this is typical by the numbers for a rookie QB. Start basic and build as the season goes on.
So complaining about a bland offense in a rookie QB’s first two games is silliness.

There's fug all we can do about it now so there's no point bitchin.
First time on the huddle? 99% of huddle posts are crying about things that nothing can be done about and in a way as if anyone here could do something about.

I do not understand the Shaq hate, dudes been one of the few consistent players on defense for years. Nothing but respect and appreciation for him!

Then why comment?
I think it’s hilarious that people actually care about this, in a way it’s absolutely funny

Wow. A current player Wishing death on someone and their family and sprinkling in some homophobic slurs. No big deal. Freedom of speech.
Let’s keep that same energy when talking about players like Eric Reid
Nope, don’t care. I care if he can stay healthy and play on Sunday, I don’t care if he’s talking poo to idiot cave trolls on twitter with a burner account.

I don’t think anyone cares he has a burner. I think folks are saying if THIS is his burner than it’s not a good look. Telling people you hope their loved ones die.
I’ve heard worse on here, directed at me personally. People say dumb things online when they think they’re anonymous. Again, don’t care.

Imagine caring if a player had a burner twitter account…..
if you care, this is your sign to get out and touch grass.

Sometimes I wonder what it must be like to be this knee jerk reactionary after a single and very predictable loss.. but I think I’m good.

So, I used to make a yearly “lol @ you” post after every first loss of the season. Lots of people in here that have unrealistic expectations and freak out after the first loss. Nothing to see here or freak out about. I’d be far more interested in seeing how Young improves from week 1 to week 8 and then toward the end of the season.
we want to see progression, that’s the only thing you should be looking for right now. The first 3 games are for nothing more than setting the base line for expectations. So if you had any at all before today that’s on you.
ps. People hate being told theyre overreacting cry babies but many on here are.

If Frank is smart he'll pass the torch to Brown sooner rather than later.

Hey! We finally don’t look terrible tonight!
(seriously though I wonder how much of this is frank calling the plays)

You mean the same Cam Newton that you proudly made fun of constantly?
It amazes me how many people don’t realize he’s full of crap. I feel like he’s more of a low key troll than anything else. Bored people and their hobbies I guess

"It doesn't matter win or loss, it matters the way they went about their business tonight."

That's what the point of preseason is, and what determines that are the goals that are set by the coaches.
Harbaugh, just like you are trying to do in this thread, is really using a straw man. No one here is saying that preseason doesn't matter, and I personally have never seen a reporter write that preseason doesn't matter. Everyone knows it matters, but wins and losses in preseason are largely not the measure of "success" during the regular season.
Everyone knows that preseason games matter to the guys who are actually trying to develop and prove that they deserve to be in the NFL.
2007 Lions went 4-0 in the preseason that’s what tell everyone who says preseason matters

This is a message board sir. You can't come here and expect people to agree with you. Speak for yourself. Don't try to convince others to agree with you. We all have our own opinions.
Have a nice day.
Nobody likes to hear man-children crying because they’re stupid man. This isn’t the forum for you.
you have nice day as well.

I have higher expectations than you.
It's alright. Nobody has to think like you. Im sick of some of you people trying to tell others what they should think of this team. Nobody is giving up on the team. Im just saying we look like poo!
Play better and I will be the biggest fan on this board.
I’m telling you what reasonable expectations are. Yours are clearly not based in reality and will only lead to constant whining posts from you and people like you because your expectations are unrealistic.
I’m telling you because I’d rather not have to deal with idiots spam post whining/crybaby posts for what is essentially a predictable outcome. Want to whine like a child at someone that cares contact the panthers directly.

Frank is not cut for this job. Players laughing it up on the sidelines making jokes while mic'd up while we were getting spanked just shows a lack of respect and accountability.
Tepper simply can't hire the right coach. People still giving up on the season before it even starts.
This has been the Tepper era sadly.
ROFL! Look, so far I’m not a fan at all based on what I’ve seen on the field, but if this is your hot take after a couple preseason games you might want to get out and touch grass.
yeah we haven’t looked good but it’s also preseason. Now if we still look like hot poo after mid point of this season you may have a point, but saying this stuff now is silly.

Long time huddle vet, been on the huddle 19 years. 1 preseason game by itself is meaningless.
best you could hope for is to see either positive or negative trends over all the preseason games. But they in large are completely pointless otherwise.
Also, the year the lions went 0-16 they were 4-0 on the preseason, so keep that in mind.
