I think ideally they want to trade back and go get Horn/Surtain, but if Sewell is there at 8 they will just take him. Don't overthink it.

As Albright said, LAC might be looking to get ahead of us for Sewell as well. Hopefully someone pays the price to take Fields at 7.

I do think if they sit at 7 they took Sewell personally. That leaves us with either Slater, Waddle, or a CB.

I think lots of teams want to trade back, but when Carolina is sitting there looking at a tackle or receiver they like, I don't think they will risk losing it. Stay at 8 and take the best player (coughSewellcough)

If you asked me what most teams QB boards are, I would tell you most of them have Fields as their 5th QB. From what I have heard anyway.

People really overrate Fields I think.

I would be pretty surprised if it wasn't a QB. If you don't take a QB and go 7-9 (I guess 7-10?) next year then you are stuck without a QB for the future and you are in cap hell. You take a QB because you plan on never being able to again.
