Horn was such a terrible draft pick. Has basically contributed nothing in three years. So frustrating.
Not even a hindsight is 20/20 thing, I'll never forgive the FO for not going with Parsons.

Brown playing like he's hungry.

Can't blame Horn's injury on our field this time. Sorry but he's just made of glass.

Horn with a no contact injury. Color me surprised...

That was a pro level catch by Mongo. Like him already!

I'm curious about this. So you are saying they grow plants inside of the stadium, and then play football on them? What happens if the plants get too tall? Are they going to invent a machine just for cutting down the plants periodically?
The problem isn't the plants getting too tall. The real issue is this particular species requires an incredibly powerful light source overhead to support the photosynthetic growth of the organism, and abundant application of falling water, making it completely unsuitable for outdoor stadiums.
That's why this particular plant is so uncommonly found in wide, flat outdoor areas.

He also has a season of nfl playing time on Corral. Yet he was let go. Corral might a bag of stale chips but he's our stale chips. If you're going to sign someone else's mistake you better have wanted the guy in the first place. Apparently we didn't.
Yeah, I wouldn't make the move because he's the emergency QB, and at this point Corrall knows our playbook and Zappe doesn't.
But Zappe a materially better QB. He's provably healthier, has 4 games of NFL regular season experience, and did well when given the chance.
Frankly I get the feeling Zappe only got cut because they don't want a QB controversy when Mac Jones is lukewarm again.

Zappe has a 100.9 passer rating in real, live NFL games. Corrall has struggled against Subway sandwich artists. Not saying we should go get him, but how can you say that with a straight face?

Got my eyes locked on the Lions cuts, because I'd love to grab Steven Gilmore

Former Panthers looking for work...
- T Greg Little (Texans)
- QB PJ Walker (Bears)
- TE Dan Arnold (Eagles)
- RB John Lovett (Steelers)
- P Michael Palardy (Commanders)Didn't know Little was in Houston now...
Woof. Boy was Little a miss. I can't believe Fitt managed to get a 7th for him.
I often wonder how different things would have been if we'd managed to hit on even some of our offensive lineman draft picks after Kalil.

Well, get the bullshit calls out of the way in the preseason, refs.

Reading the box ticker, Gilmore is in on every play. Get that man on our roster!

I have no idea what it is, but I'll take an invite. I was one of the people who got an invite to this new fangled email service called Google Mail when I was in high school and that worked out, so I always like to be an early adopter when I get an opportunity.

I don't think he is talking about his capacity it's more visually or aesthetics. He wants his first overall pick to be bigger and stronger and have a rocket arm.

Visual and aesthetics aside, it's a tough game. And yes the OL has been bad (nickle for every time I've said that over the last 4 years) but the one thing we heard about him over and over when his size came up is that he's so nimble and has such incredible pocket presence that he never allows himself to absorb those kinds of vicious hits that could shorten his career.
Well based on 5+ hits and 2 sacks in 6 drives...
We gave up a sh*tload to get him, so he better be made of steel, because a 350lb+ lineman don't give a crap how smart you are when he lands on you.

I'm impressed by how fast this board turned on the coach and the team. I think it might be a record.
Pendulum swing to how long we were patient with Rhule. The Rhule era made a big chunk of the fantasy cynical when it came to coaching

I'm not worried about Bryce.
I'm a little worried about him getting David Carr'd at this point. Supreme confidence last week. This week I already see nervous feet. That internal clock it ticking, one, two, POW! He almost had a phantom sack on his first drive. This keeps up, I worry he'll get shell shocked.

I'm SO RELIEVED I didn't waste money on NFL Sunday Ticket this season. We may be embarrassing, but spending $700 to watch an embarrassment is worse.
-
I'm literally staying in the same hotel with the Jacksonville Jaguars right now. I'm genuinely embarrassed to be wearing my Panthers shirt in front of them. I might ask them for a jersey and start a fresh.

I'm struggling to find one aspect of the game we are playing at a professional level right now. If we weren't drawing penalties we'd still be scoreless on the preseason.

I also thought donte looked pretty good honestly.
He is an absolute shutdown corner... on a team's #2 or #3 receiver.
And that's not a knock! That's a great thing to have. But so much hinges on Horn staying healthy. If we have to reshuffle the secondary, our Defense is going to look very mediocre.

Crazy.
We could have passed on Horn and not have him play for us. Instead we're paying him to not play for us...
