    2003 playoff Rams.

I knew they’d beat the Eagles after that performance but to take down the greatest show on turf in their house?

That's definitely a surprising win, and probably in the running for the greatest Panthers game, and one of the best football games in general that I've ever watching.

I was watching at home, and probably the last hour I was on my feet.

I just find it funny that his wife posted a video of them two celebrating with their kids right after being traded.  Almost like they were hostages who got released from captivity. Adam Thielen can go kick rocks for all I care. We don’t need him.

To be fair, he was here at a REALLY bad time for this team.

  3. Bryce has matured, and knows how to go through his progressions and look for the open deep man. Before he would just default to the "Thielen is open for 5 yards" easy button. Not having that forced Bryce to develop. So if he came back, he could fill the slot receiver role nicely.

I got not animosity towards him. He wanted to go back to where he had roots for the twilight of his career; and we did him a solid. He never expected he'd have to endure "9" though. So if he wants to come back, no, objections here.

  4. I'm so pissed at Bryce. Not because of this game. This is what I expected. I'm so fuging furious that he broke the franchise record last week. STOP. GIVING. US. HOPE.

Just SUCK. Consistently. And forever so we can move on.

Stop dragging this out! We know who you are. And every time we're ready to give up on you, you do something extraordinary to make us think maybe, just maybe you could be the future.

We called him Teddy Asswater. He's a strange dude. He made some burner accounts here and elsewhere and called himself Edmond which is his middle name and tried to defend himself. He just isn't good.

What FR? He had an account on here? Are any of those posts still live?

I'm not going to argue against black helmets, but love our silver helmets. No one has anything similar. If you took all the logos off all 32 team's helmets, you could pick out our helmet easy.

    ???

We're not even the only cat team to have a silver helmet.

You show a silver helmet to 100 NFL fans, I'll be generous and say maybe 2 think of the Panthers.

I think those silver helmets look great. The logo is fairly primitive looking but I understand why it is used.

The dayglo type blue top/bottom, I think looks like a cartoon. IOW not good. White on white is a classic look, no issue. Black on black I can take but prefer black pants with a blue top. Or white pants with the blue top.

That is about as much fashion content as I am comfortable posting. Maybe go to E or Bravo for this stuff.

I never liked the silver helmets.  Dallas Cowboys wannabe syndrome leftover from being a mid-90s expansion team. We're a team named after a black cat. Black should be more prominent in our motif.

    Resign that man!!

He's been invaluable to the Panthers this season, there certainly wouldnt be a Monday night game with playoff implications against the the 49ers who sit at 7-4 and current 7th seed against the Panthers 6-5 current 9th seed.

With Tampa only a half game lead in the Division with a trip to LA to take on the hottest team in the NFC the Rams.

If he doesnt go off against Miami, Dallas, Greens Bay. we certainly lose all those games and the only real discussion on this board is who we taking in the draft.

If the Panthers were a better team this season, Rico would rightly be in the MVP conversation.

  9. If history is any guide, whether it's a game or a season, Bryce turns it up a level towards the end. He's like Seabiscuit (an undersized racehorse, go figure); he just needs to be neck and neck with his opponent on the home stretch, and then he'll lead the team to victory. So if that's the kind of player he is, then he needs to over-perform now.

Setting franchise records is cool and all, but I think we all know he's not the kind of QB who's going to have us up by 2 or 3 scores at any point during the game. So if he's a closer, and that's his identity, then in order for Bryce to be considered our QB of the future, an outcome like your first scenario is what we have to see now.

    2. T-Mac doesn't have elite speed but when Bryce throws with good anticipation, it doesn't matter. They complement each other well.

Am I alone in thinking elite speed is overrated? Elite speed in the NFL just means you have a little more separation, which matters a lot less when you've got elite hands. And T-Mac has elite hands.

Between T-Mac and Coker, I've learned that the #1 thing I want in a WR is a guy who makes catching the ball look easy. Speed. Route-running. Agility. None of that matters if we can't count on you to bring it in when the ball comes your way.
