Let’s be honest there are no QBs worth a #1 pick in this class. None. Carson Beck has all the talent but not seeing the mindset to be great. The rest…naw not seeing it. Ewers is very smooth and great accuracy and a decent arm but if he faces adversity and an NFL pass rush in his face he has no chance. No QB can win here right now.

My mother will be having her leg amputated tomorrow from the knee down (if we are lucky). It could go higher on the leg. She was seen by so many doctors in Florida where she lived that completely ignored it and told her it was a spider bite. We almost certainly should trade back…and we need to hope some team is desperate. If it brings back a first in 2025 we have to do it. Outside of DE I would still focus on offense and a #1 WR is still needed.

The leadership around him has been terrible. The talent is bad and everyone knows it. He hasn’t been given a fair shake. He could go somewhere else and be great. People said very similar things about Tua who was developing very well before another bad concussion.

Bryce is still only 23 hrs old and the team around is better but still poor. Everyone saw what he could do in college. I want to see improvement and I hope this coaching staff can help there. Not the lost cause everyone thinks quite yet. This game on Sunday is NOT a get good game. The Chargers have a great pass rush and top 5 defense. Guess we will see as the season progresses. This is so damn shortsighted. Bryce had 80 TD passes in college in like 2 years and had all kinda moxie. Bash pro Bryce but college Bryce was completely dominant.
