Still better than Bryce.
I would be curious to see how PJ would look in our current offense

The end of a truly all-time great career. He gave us some great moments as a Panther.
I will forever put some respek on his name...

Yeah, Will Grier is out for blood!

That last game was so hyped. Sucks this was the follow-up. Such a Charlotte result

Well, it would have been nice to at least get swept in the playoffs for the first time in awhile

I still need to see House of the Dragon. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms was good though. Definitely recommend.
Plenty of incest, gore, and shitty people

I don't hate the idea. I still would like an OT early but it can be more of a project guy now to replace Moton or LT next year Icky pending...
The term “project player” should be banned speech in the war room in the draft. So sick of that poo.
We need proven skills

Cam seems to be eager to put the onus moreso on himself and that speaks to his personal growth as a man. He even mentions that maybe he was too hyperfocused on wins and losses which is crazy to consider when you account for the fact that our culture was so pitiful when he arrived and 89 is supposed to be considered the ultimate competitor. While Steve leans on his unspecified trauma as his reasoning for how he was toward a rookie QB and other people in general which makes no sense whatsoever considering this is the guy who physically attacked his own teammates in his younger years.
The only positive if you could consider it so that I'm getting from Steve Smith in this convo is the fact that he is actually willing to speak about it with Cam. But he does not seem to want to recognize what he threw away at that time and the cost to both himself and the franchise.
I still hear casual fans in NC say that the Panthers did Smitty wrong. No, he wanted out and poo on the new kid’s (Cam) need to lead the team going forward

In another timeline, Wilks and Darnold are raising that trophy in black and blue

I think the Panthers need a veteran DC and a change of voice. Or just stop beating around the bush and hire Luke already, he clearly has the mind for it and would invigorate the players
Canales won’t want Luke under him because as soon as we start underperforming, the calls for Luke to takeover as HC will be deafening

I don't think McCarthy is the worst possible hire they could have made but if he couldn't get it done with multiple teams in the NFC he's doomed in the AFC with a rebuilding Steelers and no viable long term QB.
I can't stand Steelers fans in general but especially the local bandwagon ones around here so this is hilarious.
Yeah, glad to see it happen to them. Hope they go nowhere

Not when said QB is Josh Allen, it would be like when Andy Reid retires in the next few years and KC making the hire without involving Mahomes in the discussion at all.
When you have a QB like they, they 100% should be involved in the discussions to make sure there is alignment and the QB/HC will mesh well together. I'm sure they didn't just let him make the decision as that would be dumb, but it would be even dumber to have not involved him in the process at all.
Wasn’t Bryce involved in getting Canales?

Damn. BY actually deserved that more than him. I know he’s AFC but still

I can’t wait until BY is gone or just majorly steps his game up (unlikely) because every discussion just leads back to him
