  1. Well, we can jump back to 16/32 if you want to consider him average. Okay, 16/32.
  2. Yeah man, that's totally why Sam underthrew him. Great quarterbacks always throw short into double coverage. Clowns.
  3. It's not weird, I'm the one extrapolating. And if you think 15/32 is good, okay, but it's not, especially when considering historic rushing numbers, would-be interceptions, and the level of play of opponents.
  4. If D.J. Moore wasn't so good at turning into a defensive back then Sam wouldn't even have "decent" statistics.
  5. It's low because losers put the bar there because they for some reason do. Why is that reason?
  6. Oh no, they haven't. Sam is in fact a bust, as we've agreed. I'm just giving you the reasoning why Sam shouldn't be signed, which is what the Panthers will look at. They will not just take some myopic view of him, looking into these six games. At the very least they'll also be looking at film, including his first disastrous year in Carolina where he was benched.
  7. Yes, Sam Darnold had 43 passing yards against the playoff eliminated Saints yesterday.
  8. Do you not think it's a bit odd that you're hyper focusing on 6 games where the Panthers had historic rushing numbers against generally bad teams? Is it not fair to include his other four seasons, including his last season in Carolina? Why is it that we have to look at these 6 games ignoring his career? Why is the bar so low for Sam Darnold?
  9. Listen, if you consider this decent. Then you're reverting back to your old self I guess.
  10. Remember when Cam Newton didn't have receivers? Oh yeah, he was the MVP that year. Meanwhile Sam Darnold is throwing rainbows to defensive backs and we have our number one receiver having to take their heads off save the interceptions.
  11. Can someone explain to me how Sam Darnold still has "potential" but Justin Fields is supposedly a certified bust?
  12. This is some clown poo. We actually have posters still arguing one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL the last 5 years deserves another contract. Sam Darnold, in his best 'year' is "average" if you extrapolate the metrics from 6 games where the team put up historic rushing numbers.
  13. Here's a Windy City Gridiron thread for example.
  14. Yeah, so let's take his career year and extrapolate then. He had a 58% completion percentage, 1,100 yards, 7 touchdowns, 3 interceptions, and 6 fumbles in 6 games. So, Sam would have 3238 Yards, 20 touchdowns, 9 interceptions, 17 fumbles in the now 17 game season. Keep digging holes boys.
